Trelawn kennels.

So I'd like to start by saying before we took our fur babies to kennels I was near on crying with worry about leaving them for a week when their used to sleep in bed with us. I now feel ridiculous because Flynn our spaniel absolutely loves going! To the point where I open my car door and have to brace myself because he pulls himself on the lead to where he knows the kennels are, buster our puppy cockerpoo who had his first visit recently clearly adored Sally and they both came back totally healthy and happy. There's a very select few I trust with our dogs and the trelawn family are part of that select few. You can see they clearly care about their visitors and work extremely hard! A big thank you to Sally & George for taking such lovely care of our two boys Bonzo & Ringo. They love going to Trelawn Kennels and each time we drop them off the go off with George without even a look back. When we brought our boys back from Portugal Sally was the only kennel in the area that was prepared to put herself out to accommodate our late arrival, we will always be grateful for that and want to take this opportunity to let you both know just how much we appreciate the wonderful way in which you take such good care of our two "Fella's" . Sally and George are accommodating and kind and I leave my two collies every morning knowing they will be safe and looked after and happy when I collect them. They have great knowledge of dogs (breeds/behaviour etc) and even advise a 'trial day' for new dogs to make sure potential new boarders are happy in a kennel environment before they stay for real!
Long story short - all staff lovely, experience and knowledge fab, my dogs are happy and I am confident they are well looked after every day!
I am yet to try the grooming but I will be booking my long haired collie for a trim soon!! More...

We have been using Trelawn for about a year and both of our dogs can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive. Sally, George and their team go above and beyond to make sure that the dogs have a good experience. Both dogs (one of which is a GSD) come home absolutely shattered from all the exercise they have obviously enjoyed!

I've been bringing Nanuq my male malamute to Sally and George for over a year now. Fantastic service, very accommodating - even when we had to last minute put him in over Christmas holidays! A absolutely brilliant boarding kennels. When we were stuck at Christmas to board our dog we were recommended to Trelawn. From our initial contact through to collecting Heidi we were most impressed . The information we were given on enquiry was reassuring, the welcome on arrival put our minds at ease and when we collected Heidi we were do happy to be be greatest by a relaxed and contented pet.
All I can say is thank you and we will have no concerns about Heidi returning in the future.

Amazing caring staff, our dogs just love going on their holidays here. They have even stayed long term whilst we were in between house moves and I have always felt they have been looked after in every way possible. The perfect home-from-home for our dogs. We were recommended to use trelawn by a work colleague .
Our little girl was just four months old when we first used trelawn
Sally recommended we put her in for day care first to see how she got on .
When we dropped Madison off we both felt like we were dropping our child of for her first day of school.
We need not have worried as she had a great time and settled in well
We have booked Madison in for a weekend and then for two weeks . she was so well looked after and she actually ate for Sally ( Madison is a stubborn girl!)
During our two week holiday Sally messaged us and sent us photos which was so comforting for us.
We would highly recommend Trelawn and Sally, George and her staff are just so kind and when Madison received a Christmas card and a little Christmas bandana through the post we were touched.
We have already booked Madison in for next month and will be using them again this year

Sally and George have been looking after my dog since he was quite young. They suggested leaving him for a few hours when he was a puppy and gradually build it up to an overnight stay once he was old enough. Because of this great initial care he has always been very excited to see them and stays there very happily. You can be completely confident that you dog will be very well cared for, exercised , and fed. I couldn't recommend them more highly. More...

We just can't express how totally impressed we were with Trelawn Kennels! Sally, George and the team were fantastic!!Our fur baby Goochie has never stayed in Kennels before and we were rather worried about leaving her anywhere during the day while on holiday. We needn't have worried though because as soon as we met Sally and George and saw how much Goochie loved them, we knew she was in very safe hands.She was treated like one of their own and it was so apparent how much they loved dogs.Goochie went running and playing with their own family pets and all the other dogs four times a day and came home extremely happy and exhausted. She was there for four doggy daycare days and every day we left her she happily went off to her kennel, without a second glance back I might add, with a very waggy tail and very pleased to be back with her new found friends.I can't recommend Sally and George and their kennels enough, they are amazing! Sally, George and team do an amazing job of caring for my two 2 year old boys. I looked around a few kennels when I was choosing but then I went to Trelawn and as soon as I saw it I knew it was a good place. They let the dogs socialise with other dogs and they all run around together playing which is lovely. My boys have been there 3 or 4 times now and always come home happy and tired. Have been using this kennels for over a year for our Labrador cross and they are wonderful. I can't recommend trelawn highly enough. We recently took our 4 month old beagle pup there for weekend, she came home happy and so much calmer and she even comes back when called which is something we have really been struggling with.
