Just joined recently and yes a few things could do with fixing, but to be fair good value for money, equipment and staff friendly.
The gym that I left recently was terrible and charged more so good riddance and looking forward to training at Energie!!
Lockers could do with fixing in changing rooms, but for me not the end of the world.
Good gym for the price and anyone moaning should go join David Lloyd!

Excellent, very inexpensive gym in a good location. Plenty of parking and bike lock points. Easily reached by car or bike, located between Cheadle Hulme and Handforth with the A34 so close I'd say it was in a very accessible area. It has everything I need from a gym for a very reasonable price. Free weights are plentiful, weight machines are diverse and well spaced out, there's usually plenty of cardio machines free, a few rowing and bike machines, and lots of cross trainers and treadmills, the latter two of which seem to be the most popular, hence more machines. There are personal trainers available here, seemingly at all times of the day, I even see them there past 9pm so it seems like there's a wide range of times available to fit most schedules. There are also daily classes available for free if you buy either of the two more expensive memberships, but still only £20 for the top one. All round I'm very happy with this gym. More...

Agree, water fountain needed and hairdryer to be useable, otherwise it is a good basic gym.

Well equipped gym but need updating. Not sure if aircon is working. But it's cheap and you get enough free weights, dumbbells up to 60kg so can't complain.

Best gym I have been to in my opinion from beginner to advanced level. Beginners get all the equipment and support they need. Advanced users can enjoy heavy 60kg Dumbells and at least 6 barbells to choose from. I have been going to this gym for 3 years now. The manager Rob Luscombe is a well mannered professional that has assisted me on numerous things within the gym. A lad called Jak Barnes is also very extrovert in personality making sure everyone is comfortable within the gym. No riff raff or trouble makers. Plenty of parking. Changing rooms could be a little bigger which I would advise to get extended but still manageable during peak times. More...
