I originally trained as a plasterer in private properties, but then ventured into dry-lining in commercial buildings and new-build homes.
I have also worked for a maintenance company and performed insurance repairs.
I have since expanded to provide a tiling service and set up my own business, Total Plastering.

I love the fact that my work can much such a difference from people’s homes.
I get great job satisfaction from providing a excellent finish to my customers, and the positive feedback I get from them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I always wanted to work for myself and run my own business.
Once I had learnt the trade and was confident in plastering, I started taking on small jobs on my own.
After a number of years sub-contracting, I decided to set up on my own company. The business has gone from strength to strength and it is the best decision I have made.
