New Roof Replacement
Old tiles, felt and batten stripped and disposed of accordingly. New breathable membrane and treated roofing batten are then installed followed by brand new tiles. Finally, the new ridge tiles will be sealed tight with fresh cement. Other works inclusive are; chimney pointing, chimney launching and gutter replacement.
Felt and Batten Replacement
The exisiting tiles would be stripped from the roof and hand cleaned by our team, the roof would then be stripped of the existing felt and batten which will be disposed of accordingly. Next, a new breathable membrane and treated roofing batten are installed following with the old hand cleaned tiles, finished with a freshly cemented ridge and a biocide treatment to prevent algae and moss growth.
Roof Cleaning
Our team will come in fully equipped to hand clean your roof causing no damage or degradation to your roof tiles, finished with a biocide treatment for algae and moss prevention.
Chimney Pointing and Launching
One of our teams would arrive on site fully equipped to work at height, the chimney would have the old mortar stripped away from the existing brickwork and the top of the stack grazed. A new bed of cement would line the stack top and a new pointing layer will be applied to the chimneys brickwork.
Chimney Removal
We would dismantle the stack brick by brick ensuring little to no damage to your property, once the bricks have been removed past the point of the felt layer we will then patch repair the gap and infill with new or reclaimed tiles (depending on the age of the property)
Pointing and Repointing
We would arrive on site with power tools and start to remove the existing mortar between the brickwork. after we have done this the gaps would then be infilled with fresh cement, finally to finish we would then brush down the brickwork with a wet soft brush to give it a nice finish.
