I am a friendly and compassionate Maths Tutor, and published academic author who is deeply passionate about tutoring and helping others to succeed. I have lectured part time at Halesowen College in the black country and have over 16 years of experience teaching Mathematics up to GCSE level on a ‘one to one’ basis. In the 2019 exams 100% of the students that I taught gained the equivalent of grade C or above in Mathematics at GCSE level, some even moved up two grades from their predicted level as a result of my one to one tuition. During this same exam period 100% of my students passed A level Mathematics gaining either A or B grades.

I have presented and authored several Maths revision DVDs that have been sold on amazon.co.uk and used in UK schools as well as in other countries as far off as New Zealand and India. I am fully DBS checked in compliance with the protection of children act 1999. I can provide up to 3 references from parents of students that I have recently taught. My rates are very competitive and included in my fees are FREE Maths revision videos, notes and past papers. I will also come directly to your home, so no need to travel!

I am a graduate from the University of Aston Birmingham. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a certificate in Mathematics from the Open University and have A levels in Maths, Physics, Economics and General Studies. I am currently employed as a senior Maths tutor at the Worcester learning zone, I am available from 4 to 9 in and around the Worcester area. I also teach online so I am able to teach students from other parts of the UK.

In addition to my academic qualifications I also hold qualifications in youth counselling, mindfulness and safeguarding. I have taught a wide range of students with varied abilities and conditions including ADHD, cerebral palsy, anxiety and depression. I specialise in helping students with low levels of confidence and self esteem to help them succeed and gain the results that they want. I feel deeply privileged to be able to help others achieve academically and make a difference to their lives.

Home Visits:
£30 per lesson for Key Stage 2 (Years 5 & 6 Only)
£35 per lesson for Key Stage 3
£40 for GCSE level
£45 for A level

Online lessons:
£35 Online GCSE Tuition
£30 Online KS3 Tuition
£40 for A level

** Please only contact me if you are serious about wanting tuition and can commit to lessons once a week or fortnightly (no time wasters please) and are over the age of 18. Due to a high demand for my time I have to schedule appointments. Once we have agreed to start tuition you will be offered a regular time slot each week or every other week. I do not teach on an adhoc basis. If you need to cancel a lesson then in line with my terms and conditions I will need at least 24 hours notice otherwise the full cost of the lesson will be charged.**
