PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP UNTIL YOU READ THIS

I would urge anyone considering to use Tom's services NOT TO do it. The 6 weeks are not free, it will cost you £300 and the weight loss results he is talking about are only achievable if you have considerable weight to loose otherwise forget about reaching your goals.

Nevertheless, this is not the reason for leaving this review. Tom is a pushy sales person who doesn't care about people at all. He has no empathy or understanding. He promises to always stay in touch and ensure you push yourself. Well, I finished my 6 weeks in July and sent him a whats up message ( that is mainly the way he communicates with people) to say I wouldn't start the full membership but would get in touch after the summer. He totally ignored that message, even though he read it, and started charging £95 per month. I have not been to TK Fitness since my 6weeks finished, but he takes money out of my account every single month.

The warning to anyone who wants to sign up with Tom and TK Total Fitness - PLEASE DO NOT DO IT. He will take your bank details to charge £300 and will keep those same bank details without your permission to charge you later even after you have finished you 6 weeks challenge. I have spoken to my bank numerous times over the last 5 months. Shockingly, they have no way to stop card payments. Visa has started the investigations weeks ago but has yet to be resolved as they are waiting for communication from Tom and his bank. I have never heard of a business that keeps your card details and continues charging and there is absolutely nothing you, your bank or anyone can do to stop it. This is not a standing order or a direct debit, this is them taking my money via the card details I gave them when paying £300. Bank has re-issued the new card but it's the sort code and account number they still have and simply cannot stop the payments.

I can't even begin to tell you what stress this has caused to me and my family at a time when food costs are soaring and all the household bills are terribly high. I now have to think that every month £95 is coming out which could have been spent on my children and getting food on the table.

I didn't think it was ever going to come to this where I have to leave a review. Over the last 5 months I tried so hard to stop this but since I got nowhere I just wanted to give you a warning so you do not make the same mistake and sign up with TK Total Fitness.

Tom is a scammer. He contacted me quickly only when I signed up, and he hasn't cared how much my body had changed even at the 3rd-week checking. Instead, he offered a discounted price for continuing the subscription after six weeks. He tricks people into lying about the 6-week challenge. When my weight had barely changed in 6 weeks, his reason was that I wasn't that fat. Still, I signed up for an extension for the exercise itself. But since I already knew my workplace would move out of Cambridge, I put a free termination clause in the contract. And my moving was decided at the end of June, so in mid-May, I announced to Tom that I would exercise until May and couldn't extend to June.
However, I received a text message stating that the June membership fee was paid. So I asked Tom about it and asked for a refund. There was still no answer, and after a week, he started asking for proof that I would be really moving. After completing all the evidence he asked for, he suddenly asked me to come to work out. Because I gave notice in advance and filed the paperwork with him, I had not gone to the June exercise at all. He sounded ridiculous, but I asked for at least two weeks' worth of money back if he could not refund the whole. But he has not responded so far. So maybe Tom was spending my time until my moving.
I hope you don't start TK fitness at all, but you can give it a try for 6 weeks. However, I strongly recommend that you think carefully about the contract extension. If you are confident that you will not be surprised by Tom's change of attitude, the rest is up to you.

After joining last year, I have reluctantly had to step back from TK for a while until I can be more consistently in Cambridge. My body weight and shape may not have changed that much but I am definitely fitter, stronger and more determined. What I have learnt during my time with Tom Kynaston: - "I can't" often actually means "I don't want to". - It isn't just about exercise, or even mainly about diet - it's about choice and consistency. - I honestly thought I was eating a really healthy diet. It turns out I was just eating a low calorie diet. - Eggs for breakfast is not yucky. In fact, I am now so converted that my body craves them when I don't have them. What I have learnt with Mike Creamer: - Positive reinforcement goes a really long way - I am good at pull-ups - who would ever have thought it?! - I am not NOT a morning person but Mike made 6.25am feel not too horrendous Thanks to Beks for the warm welcome and consistent cheerfulness which helped to counter my normal reticence. I signed up initially for the 8 week transformation programme and saw amazing results in that time so have signed up for a further six months and have continued to see results in terms of fitness, weight loss and body shape. The classes are friendly. Tom and Mike are always on hand to give advice and are passionate about working with you to achieve your goals but most of all they make you accountable for your own progress and achievements. I joined TK Total Fitness about 18 months ago as I was unhappy about my fitness and size. Tom is a real expert and tells you exactly what you need to do to achieve your goals (even when it’s not what you want to hear! ). I found the workouts really hard at first, but the trainers and the other members are so supportive I never felt like giving up. After about 6 months I had dropped from 75kg and size 12/14 to a well-toned 55kg and size 8. Now I am maintaining my shape and I am so much fitter and stronger - I would never have believed I was capable of what I have achieved in terms of the exercises I can do. I was told about T.K fitness by a good friend of mine Gen. And over the past summer have seen her whole body shape change. She’s so much happier and looks amazing. So I asked her how she did it. So she told me and said I should join her. I didn’t take much convincing to be honest. As I could clearly see it had work for Gen. So I did join her, although I did feel a little nervous on going to my first session, I really had no need to be. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming. It’s like a big family. And the sets Tom has put together are fantastic. And mike is fantastic to with his session. Beccs is really lovely and helpful. Over all a brilliant team. I have now been going for 5 months. Cannot say enough good things about TK Fitness! Support is brilliant and TK fitness team are always available to give extra support and advice (meal plans, etc. ). Very friendly and lovely people! I initially started the 8 week transformation program in July ( it was my birthday gift from my partner) and I wasn't sure if I will continue since I get bored so quickly but the variety of exercises suiting different abilities, made it possible for me to continue. Not in my entire life I would imagine that I would make the time and effort to go to the sessions continuously and enjoy it, this was the best decision I have made in my life. I was surprised from the results I have achieved and renewed my membership for further 6 months and will probably keep on renewing it. I am very happy and pleased I made it that far. Working with such a motivating team like: Tom, Mike and Beks are incredible and so motivating, the entire family is great. I joined a month ago and am already feeling stronger and fitter. I was initially worried because I joined with an injury in my hip/right leg from a bike accident but Tom and Mike are great at suggesting alternative exercises and exercises that strengthen my injury so I can train pain-free. Very pleased to say that my injury hardly causes me any pain anymore! Would recommend 100%. More...

Tom has helped me do much a over a year ago helped me lose the weight so I could start Ivf. I have had my baby now and I'm now back. I've been back a month now loving the new equipment. Still the fantastic atmosphere and friendly faces. I never thought it would be so easy to commit to a workout routine for me, I usually get bored and demotivated pretty quickly. I instead sort of got addicted to it! It is the personal care and attention Tom and the team put in every single one of us, combined with the variety of trainings and a great atmosphere of fun and motivated people, that make this a fantastic choice for whoever wants to shift things in their lives. It is definitely doing it for me! Always available to work together towards your goals, trying to think of ways to help you go through tough moments, helping staying on top of things and with loads of ways to keep your motivation up, Tom, together with Mike and Beks really have found a fantastic system that works! Never been one for fitness! But I love this class a stone down so far and determined to lose more! The fit camp “family” has meant more to me than the weight loss! This fitness programme really does work. If you are determined to change your fitness and the way you look and are prepared to attend all the sessions, you WILL see a difference. The Fit Camp sessions are indoors (so no excuse if it is raining or cold) although group work, you shouldn't feel you won't be able to cope, as you are given alternatives and there are lots of people with different levels of fitness. Great support and motivation is given by the team, and other members, along with nutritional advice, recipes and a great database of articles, videos and recommendations in the members area. You have a choice of the Fit Camp sessions, or the Focus group, which is semi private slightly more weights based, although a full body workout. With three Fit Camp sessions three times a week, you can mix up your sessions to fit in with your lifestyle. With the sessions being just 45 minutes, this is less than 4% of your day and can make such a positive difference in your health, well being, confidence and how you look and feel. More...

Totally the best experience of my life! Sounds perhaps too good to be true? Well actually no ive been part of TK fitnesss for nearly 2 years now and after a slow start I'm now fully committed to this programme and the amount of comments I receive from family, friends etc about how much I've changed physically and mentally is pretty awesome.
I will constantly tell people that I meet along the way how fantastic my journey has been and continues to be.
I cannot imagine life without this.
This is a Permanent fixture now.
I would recommend this to everyone who wants to kick start a new life which includes motivation improved self esteem, meeting new lovely people and above all achieving goals that you never thought possible.
TK fitness is simply the best!

Having been a member of different gyms in the past and never really being motivated to go, I have found Tom's fit camp exactly what I needed. I am now officially addicted!! Not only are Tom and Callum great trainers in their drive and enthusiasm even in the early hours, they are knowledgeable, supportive and make exercise fun. Found TK fitness on Facebook and have been following for a while now, but took the plunge and started the 8 week transformation programme after seeing the amazing results that people were getting. I am 3weeks in and can already see and feel the changes from the exercise classes and nutrition guidelines.
It's tough to get up for a class at 6am but there is flexibility with different class times which work around my shift pattern. The classes are big and friendly, with all different levels of ability. Tom is always energetic, positive and focused on everyone there, so no one gets left out!

Tom's fit camp is by far the best program I've taken part in because his simple approach to both exercise and nutrition makes sticking to a healthy lifestyle change achievable. His enthusiasm for what he does and encouragement every step along the way makes it so much more enjoyable and easy to keep coming back. He's always there with advice, quick to motivate and tirelessly explaining how to do things the right way for you.
It's such a friendly atmosphere that makes you not want to miss out, and everyone that attends is so welcoming.
I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to positively change their fitness. The sense of achievement that fit camp gives you is addictive!

This has to be one of the best investments I have made in my life for a better future.2 weeks in and I feel a lot stronger physically and generally happier. I am also starting to notice and feel little change in my weight.Slow and steady is the way to go if you want to maintain weight loss.Tom is genuinely one of the most nicest,caring and outgoing trainer I have come across.He wants you to succeed in achieving your goals and helps and motivates you in any way possible.you just need to ask him or any of the trainers/team members. And help is there.I recommend tk total fitness cambridge to anyone who is looking to lose weight,tone up and generally maintain their health and fitness.

I first came across this group through Facebook, and I am always a bit skeptical about Facebook adverts anyway, but had gotten to the point where I was desperate to change. And I'm really thankful that I took the plunge for their 8 week programme! They change all aspects of your lifestyle from food do's and don'ts (strict for the first month) to exercise perception. In the first two weeks I had lost nearly half a stone and dropped 2% in body fat. These little milestones are what keep you going because it really works, and with minimal impact on your daily life. The group are lovely, and its a real 'go hard or go home' energetic environment. I've got 6 weeks left and can't wait to reach my goals! Thank you TK! More...

After 18 months of failing to motivate myself to do regular exercise and improve my diet I discovered TK Fitness by chance during a bout of insomnia.

I felt the benefits almost instantly, both physically and mentally. I am losing weight, toning up, eating so much better, sleeping well, feeling stronger and regaining my self-confidence.

It is a such a warm, friendly group of people who are there alongside me, come rain or shine, working hard and egging each other on. Even on days when I feel like I can't face the day, I get myself to training and by the end the session I am ready to take on the world.

Loads of guidance and checks on technique. It's not daunting. The nudging messages to keep you on track just when you need it, as well as indepth advice on relevant topics all play a part too.
