I go to Boxercise not just once a week, I go to every class, if I can. We work hard but I have met really lovely people, very friendly, and we all laugh whilst working out, it’s a real pleasure. I love this class. Andy is very approachable, he keeps us motivated and is he is always on the end of the phone Thanks Andy!!” Stella Ursino More...

Andy really personalises each of your workouts by observing your movements in detail. This maximises every effort you make. As a result of that and excellent nutritional ideas and adjustments you will lose weight and gain fitness. All this and we always have fun at the same time. Personally I lost a stone in 5 weeks and have really improved my stamina, fitness and enjoyment of exercising. More...

I sought out Andy's services after trying many other ways to achieve some heath results. I am sure everyone faces the same problem I do - Time. I work a long day and then there are home commitments in the evening. I was honest with Andy about my numerous attempts and that finding 45 minutes in a day wasnt possible. Rather than playing the "if you really wanted it you would make time" approach of many PT's I've experienced he found a way to make it work around me, ultimately this left me no excuses as well which helps in the long run.Trigger Point Pilates - I had no idea what this was when Andy first mentioned it. I sit in an office for around 2 hours a day and so end up stressed, tense and largely hunched over, I had also began experiencing pain in my knee. Andy came in the middle of my day and we took just 10 minutes doing some positions. It required hardly any space and could be done in the clothes I was wearing. As we ran through the positions, loosening knots in the muscles, I was amazed at how clearly tense and knotted my muscles were. After just a short, I felt rejuvenated, de-stressed and most of all could sit much more comfortably, in fact it was the first time I had sat up straight in a long time. It was until I was driving home that evening that I realised driving was much easier too - my knee pain was gone! Anyone who hasn't tried Trigger Point with Andy should really give it a go. I don't think there's any of us who couldn't do with relaxing our minds and muscles more.Personal Training - I had spent months (maybe years) trying to sort a time for Andy to join me in a gym to put together a strength training regime. I am usually successful at cardio fitness and weight loss, however, no matter what gym I have joined or program I have been on I have never achieved any muscle building. The problem is probably the same reason I could get session in with Andy at the gym - I simply couldn't commit the time. Again, Andy made no attempt to make big changes to my routine, instead he made the workout fit. He produced a weights programme that was just 15 minutes a day (which could actually be done in several intervals throughout the day whilst making a cup of tea etc). Great, I would give it a try. As a results driven individual I was naturally demotivated that I did not have results after the first week. Andy, patiently, readjusted my mindset, politely reinforcing that I was not going to look like Cristiano Ronaldo after a week spending just 15 minutes a day. He kept me motivated (along with keeping up with his fantstic Facebook videos) and I kept going. A week later, I noticed definition in my shoulders and biceps, along with something I had never seen before - I had triceps. By using smaller achievable goals which didnt seem a lot at the time, I had made significant progress in hindsight.I really cant recommend Andy enough. Far from a one size fits all approach, he makes everything work around the individual. I cant see him regularly, so he plans this in to the programme to make sure results still come. I cant commit too much time, so he makes certain that its achievable for me in the time I have. He is always on the end of the phone or email and I never feel like he is clock watching or counting minutes. If you have never tried Trigger Point Pilates or using a personal trainer, or have but found that it didnt work, give Andy at Three Pillars a try either 121, in a class or watching his free advice on Facebook. The approach is refreshingly real, cuts out buzz words and fluff and gets straight to results that are individually tailored and delivered. More...
