The Wright Therapy

My background is in nursing, which is a career I chose because of my desire to help people. However I quickly realised that I couldn't offer the level of support that I really wanted to, and didn't like the fact that I couldn't follow people's journeys or know if they had gotten better.
I feel like I was always destined to be a Therapist, it was a long-standing desire that I ignored until eventually life took over and directed me back to it.
I was very intentional in training in a variety of healing modalities because people are complex and ever-changing, and I wanted to be able to be a one-stop healing centre for them, rather than passing them on to someone else or making them have to go through more disruption or displacement than they already had. I'm proud to be able to tailor therapy to the individual, and to their current circumstances, which can change from one week to the next.

I have extensive knowledge and experience which means that whatever issues my clients come to me with, I have more than likely already helped other people through it. This includes a wide range of issues from a traumatic childhood, to agoraphobia to post-partum depression.
Whilst every individual is special, problems are not as rare as you may think, which means that you can overcome them with the help of a qualified professional.

During the pandemic we were all forced to move online, which had it's benefits. Many clients choose to continue working remotely because it reduces travelling time, costs and is a better use of their time.
However many clients also have returned to in-person therapy, and like coming to a safe place and find the commuting time an opportunity to prepare for our session and reflect afterwards.
It's totally up to the individual, and we can change it on a weekly basis to suit your needs.

If any clients have concerns about in-person services they are welcome to have sessions online.
