We stayed for 2 nights in october, my partner chose it because of the amazing reviews, and they weren't wrong!||Jilly and Adrian can't do enough to make you feel welcome and at home. We had a free upgrade on our room as we were the only guests, which was a lovely surprise.||Breakfast was simple but delightful, with orange juice and fruit waiting for our arrival at our table.||A bottle of complimentary sherry in the room was a lovely evening treat.||It's just a short walk from everything you need in newquay.||The bar (although we didnt use) was lovely, and based on an honesty format, so you help yourself and make a note of what you've had. We have just returned from a weekend in Newquay staying at this lovely little hotel and have nothing but positive comments to share. We chose it because of all the positive reviews we read on Trip Advisor.||The owners, Jilly and Adrian, have obviously put a a great deal of thought and work into providing a uniquely charming place to stay.||The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the town centre. Our room, in fact everywhere, was spotlessly clean and we had a great sea view.||Breakfast was exceptional- plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented.||I cannot find fault and would highly recommend the White House, it really does deserve all the lovely comments from guests. We will definitely return on our next visit to Newquay. More...

I want to thank Jilly and Adrian for the most amazing few days! ||I am a very honest and open person and at first we were booked into an air bnb which was canceled by the owner due to a fire. At first, my husband and I were gutted and spent hours trying to find somewhere to stay and then we found this little beauty!||I will admit, when I looked on trip advisor I thought how on earth can pretty much every review be perfect. I was very very sceptical but honestly until you experience it you will not understand why this hotel is so special.||The room is stunning, the hosts are wonderful and treat you like family, the recommendations are fantastic, the bar is so homely and the breakfast is to die for. ||We had such a wonderful time chatting away to jilly and Adrian and getting to know them. They let you into their lives and treat you on a level without that dangerous pretence which can sometimes come from high end hotels. ||I was incredibly worried about leaving my 4 month old son with his grandparents while hubby and I had a break from being mum and dad but these guys made me feel the most relaxed I have been in ages and for that I am incredibly grateful. ||After a long summer for the two owners, I thought the service would understandably be not as good. If I was wrong. The enthusiasm, love for their hotel and passion is what makes them both truly special people!||Thank you for everything and enjoy a well deserved rest! This place is a gem! You can really see and feel the love and care the owners have put in this quirky, fantasticly decorated property. The bedroom we stayed in (Presidential Suite) was spotless clean, nicely decorated and with an amazing views of the ocean. That aside, the whole "White House" (like the one in Washington DC) theme is original. The bar is great and the breakfast is just amazing not only for the quality and presentation of the dishes offered but also the efficient service.||My husband & I could keep adding praises but one thing is sure, the heart of this place is their wonderful hosts, Jilly and Adrian. When we arrived, we were upgraded to a larger room (the Roosevelt) which was excellent. The owners are absolutely lovely. We had a very short time to visit Cornwall and Jilly recommended a walk around the coast and to a nearby town during low tide . Breakfast in the morning was fabulous and we felt incredibly welcomed. Yes it’s easy to see why this privately owned, lavishly decorated and furnished hotel is the best in Newquay. We had the pleasure of staying there for a long weekend and absolutely loved it, so much in fact that we have vowed to make it an annual pilgrimage as long as the current owners are there. From a text confirming out arrival time, the personal greeting on arrival to the bespoke breakfast, a faultless experience. The love and pride the owners have invested is immeasurable and we loved every minute. Highly, highly recommend.
