Great hospitality, lovely ales and fresh food, what more could you ask for. Staff were very attentive without being over bearing, service was swift and the atmosphere in the pub is very friendly with a good mix of locals and people from outside the village. Highly recommended.

Fantastic pub. I've been here for drinks a few times and tonight had a very enjoyable pie night. I'm liking the fact that the restaurant area is now less formal so is good even if you just want drinks and a snack.

Me, my Mother and my Son came for lunch last week and can honestly say we had a fantastic meal.
The Crayfish dressed with a crevette was to die for and the chicken was beautifully cooked.
My mother thoroughly enjoyed the ham hock and the beef and my son loved the Brookie so much He even asked to take another one home with him.
The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive.
Thank you for a great lunch we will be back to try dinner next time.
