im a very active individual and love the great outdoors. Ive been passionate about enhancing gardens since my early 30 s .
Of course, its hard work and challenging but there is no place i would rather be. I passed my RHS levels 1 + 2 because i wanted to know how to care for and enhance shrubs, lawns etc .....OH ! and weed control !!

What do you love most about your job?
Its in my blood! My grandparents and parents were all keen gardeners. I am invigorated to arrive at one of my regular gardens and see new growth on a shrub i pruned, bulbs poking through that i planted, healthy grass that was previously suffering.
I dont mind the cold, i love balmy sunshine and praise from an educated customer!
What inspired you to start your own business?
When my two children were little I took pleasure in making their garden a pleasure to be in. My interest grew and I wanted to take the RHS courses to enhance my knowledge.
While on the courses I decided that I wanted to make this my career. If you are working with a product that you love its not really like working. The only time I look at the time is to see how much more I can achieve before I need to tidy up!
Why should our clients choose you?
If you want a tidy up or a quick makeover I am not the right person for you. If you dont care about your outside space i am not right.

Not really! Its a hands on occupation. I can provide remote suggestions but i really need to get in your garden and see the shrubs, the aspect, est the soil and see the problems so count me out on the remote stuff. However, answering this bit of the questionaire requires me to imput at least 50 characters apparently so im trying to use exeptionally elongated words to satiate the ridiculous requirements of this question !!!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid 19 is deadly. We could be carriers without that knowledge or incubating the disease. Hopefully I can stay outside of your home, I dont need to come in or have coffee. I make a habit of sanitising my hands before climbing out of my van, happy to wear a mask and keep my distance if we are out in your garden together.

I will Provide a Written description of your garden. Naming /tagging the existing shrubs and how to care for them.
Identifying the problem weeds /or soil/or lawn problems with information on how to treat them.
This written format also followed by an accompanied walkaround and answering any questions that you have.
fixed fee of £100.
Planning/Planting out new areas
This is either a one off service to plan planting out a new area or also to source and plant the chosen shrubs.
It is important to incorporate into planning:
The plants that you like (many reference books available)
The soil type that you have.
The aspect to the sun and the requirements of shrubs.
The budget available.
This costs £100 for planning only.
Additional planting charged at £18 per hour
Regular Gardening Slot
I am happiest working on a regular basis in a customers garden. I enjoy working for customers who have a genuine interest in their space .
Many of my regular customers have great knowledge of horticulture but either through age, disability or time constraints cannot spend the time that they would like tending it.

A discount available for 3 hour slots for £50
