The Rustic Caterer specialises in creating authentic and bespoke hot / cold buffets for all occasions using fresh, quality ingredients.
We are capable of catering for a 100+ guests at a wedding, but just as comfortable providing an intimate tea party for 10-12.

Thank you so much for our hugely successful wedding meal. All our guests were really impressed by the food and we had lots of positive comments about how it was different & better than the standard food at weddings.
I didn't manage to eat much of the lunch we provided for our guests but I made sure I sat and ate a big plate of your food for dinner as I'd been looking forward to it ever since we saw you for the taster session.
The flavours were delicious, just what myself and Claire were hoping for, the antipasti starter worked perfectly and everyone enjoyed trying the different dishes. All your staff were really helpful and efficient as well, I was very impressed with all the work they did behind the scenes to make the meal a success.
I could keep writing nice things about the food and staff for pages and pages but I think you get the message that both myself and Claire are very happy with the whole experience. Thank You!

From the reception canapés to the 3 course wedding banquet, everything we ate was absolutely delicious and the comments received from our guests only reiterated that. The service was outstanding...going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day and lots of smiles from the service staff. Anna helped us craft an unique menu that focused on seasonal foods, what we like to eat and helped create our vision of a relaxed affair where guests served each other, shared platters and got nothing short of top quality food. What’s your signature dish?
Classic British dishes with a twist are our specialty. Filo pastry tarts with roasted winter vegetables, individual Yorkshire puddings with roast beef and horseradish creme fresh, bourbon-soaked pork belly with chive dip.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We feel very lucky to be able to share in the special occasions that our clients our celebrating. Talking through their expectations, their ideas, and working within their budgets, we create some ideas for discussion. All of our menus are created specifically for a single event, and we hope the food we provide adds to their story.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating food that makes people smile. When we deliver the end product, there's always a slight nervousness as you hope the food meets the brief. But the satisfaction of a simple thank you as the plates are cleared away make it all worthwhile.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always loved food, and the central role it plays in peoples lives. I've worked in the food industry for many years, but the opportunity to indulge my passion came when my children went to school and I found myself creating elaborate celebration cakes for friends and family. This developed into creating buffets and party food and in the last few years, through word of mouth, a business has emerged which I'm very lucky to run.
Why should our clients choose you?
All our menus are bespoke - from a shared concept with the client through to the delivered food. Many of our customers come back time and again, and our business has grown through recommendation and word of mouth. Our food looks good, but more importantly it tastes great too.
