5 of us had lunch today. the service was slow and haphazard for example I had to ask several times for my main course after the others in the party had been served. We had to ask repeatedly for our desserts andcwhen they would arrive. I understand that many places are short staffed but bookings shouldn't be accepted if you can't cope. My other complaint was the price of drinks £12 for a glass of wine but the real shocker was a lime and soda where a shot of lime cordial cost £1.70. How can this be justified? Whilst the food was ok , the general state of the tables was not ! We sat outside and ALL of the tables had food and drinks left over from previous visitors , we were there over an hour and there was wasps and flys on all the used glasses and food plates . Mention to the waitress. She cleared one of the tables and left the rest , customers were turning up and leaving because there was not a clean table to sit at . Very poor More...

We went for drinks last night (25th June) booked a table outside, arrived & ordered 2 glasses of wine & 2 Peroni's... after about 30 mins we had to chase up our drinks, our server came back with the wine & no Peroni. .. apparently it had run out... quick look at the menu & order a Budvar & Corona, 10 mins later still no drink! I went in to get it myself, to find out Asahi was on tap so ordered 2 & cancelled the bottled beers that still hadn't arrived 🙄 we would've ordered Asahi if it had been on the menu! moving on 10 mins our cancelled bottled beers arrived!!! sent them back & ordered 2 more wines & Asahi's... only to find out that also had run out!!! 2 pints of Meantime it was, no problems... until we asked for a couple of bags of dry roasted peanuts... 10 mins later, you guessed it... they've run out! 🙈 I appreciate it was Royal Ascot a week ago & am sure you were very busy, but come on...! the staff were lovely & it wasn't their fault, but someone needs to sort the stock control pronto! I booked a room for 2 nights for next June for a total of £386. I then received a message saying the price was wrong and would be £880! You’ve now cancelled the booking without even discussing it with me! I assume it’s because of the races but how greedy is this! If you advertise at this rate you should honour it. Really enjoyed the food, the Nourish Bowl (VE) and added falafel was really tasty, nicely seasoned veggies too. Then had the dessert with the cookie (VE) which I enjoyed but the cookie was soooo crunchy as it had been overdone, still enjoyable though 👍🏻 can you add raspberries to the cookie next time? What’s your signature dish?
The Porchetta has been on our menu for over 5 years and since day one of opening our site. It's the perfect home comfort which can be enjoyed on our A La Carte Menu with seasonal Vegetables, Mash potato and home made gravy or on a Sunday as our signature Sunday Roast with all the trimmings.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We're flexible to all guests needs. With enough time and planning we are able to cater for everyone and anyone, if needed you are always welcome to meet with our Head Chef if you have certain requirements so we can best cater for you.
Wedding Parties
We have two areas within our business that can be hired out to cater for a maximum of 80 Seated Guests or over 100 standing. We also have 24 bespoke boutique hotel rooms to cater for anyone staying overnight.
Celebrations
Wakes
We offer a memorial menu and private function space for any Wakes. We appreciate this is an incredibly difficult time for anyone so are flexible with any requirements.
