Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
I think having an accountant who can help you understand your numbers is very important. I appreciate some customers just want to pass over the admin but I find many are quite curious to understand what is driving their taxes.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting great feedback and building up a rapport with people who then recommend my services to their friends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
COVID! I would never have been brave enough but COVID meant it really was my best chance of success!
Why should our clients choose you?
Lots of my clients appreciate the fact that I am keen to reply quickly. I appreciate my clients generally do not love doing their taxes and therefore if they are in the mood for getting things organised I think its in my best interest to engage with them at that moment (if I can).

I'm always on Zoom.
I love Xero and excel.
I am happy to provide services remotely and rarely actually meet with my clients face to face.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I think for people running their own businesses it can be lonely and a little scary. Especially with new start ups I like to check in that they are thinking about their whole business and offer support in not only the tax preparation but just checking that they are ok and pointing them in the direction of where to find solutions!
