I could not be happier with The Pets Home and Garden Company. Janis and John provide an exceptional service and clearly care about the animals in their care. I received daily videos of each of my pets, and you could tell from the interaction just how much my cats enjoyed the visits, and how much they trusted Janis and John. I wanted to send a quick message to let you know how pleased I was with Janis. She really showed great concern and care for my 3 years old cat while I was away on a holiday.
By far, she has been the best pet sitter I’ve had. I would really like to keep using her from here on out as the pet sitter for my cat. My cat really liked her and she just took such good care of him. It was a great experience and I knew from the “get go” upon meeting her, my cat was in excellent hands with her. Janis and John looked after our 3 cats when we went on holiday for a week, included one cat which needed tablets being given.
Janis updated me which texts, photos and videos, which gave me comfort whilst we were away.
Once back home the cats looked so happy and everything was in place.
I then used Janis and John again to pop in on my 2 Springer Spaniels. When we went away for some of the day. Again an amazing service, with photos of the dogs and keys put back in place and happy Spaniels.
Wouldn’t hesitate at using Janis and John again.

We asked Janis and John to take care of our two cats while we were away for a week and they did a great job. They sent us videos of our boys twice a day so that we were reassured that they were ok, and we’re pleased to say that they looked very relaxed and happy in Janis and John’s company.
They were very thorough in their communications with us and everything went smoothly. It gave us great peace of mind to know that our cats were being taken care of so well, and we would recommend Janis and John to anyone who needs a good pet sitter.

It is so important to give pet owners peace of mind when they are away, their pet will have the best care possible, they will be looked after as if they were our own.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have owned many pets and have a love of animals that has inspired me to have a business where I can look after as many pets as possible.
I have struggled in the past, to find good quality, professional pet care when required, and so I was inspired to start my business to provide just that, loving, reliable, professional and affordable pet care.

They should choose us because we provide professional pet care at very affordable rates, we are fully insured and DSB checked and hold many certificates in pet care, including Pet First Aid, Pet and Dog Sitting, and many more.
We love pets and your pet is our pet!
Cat Sitting
I am a huge cat lover and love looking after my clients cats when they are away. I am a very experienced cat owner and have looked after lots of my clients cats for them.
I can call into your home daily to feed and fuss your cat when you are unable to. I will feed, clean and refresh litter trays and give your cat lots of love and fuss on your behalf.
I will give you daily updates with pictures of your pet so you know how they are doing.
Cats are always are happiest when they can stay in their own home.
We can also water plants, take in any post, open and close curtains and turn lights on and off for you at no extra charge.
Small Animal Boarding/Home Care
We offer small animal boarding in an indoor room.
We can look afterHamsters, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, and other small pets.
Our hotel is indoors, is warm, dry and secure, no outdoor cages here! There are cages of various sizes for you to choose from, all cages are disinfected and throughly cleaned after every use and are equipped with wheels and toys so your pet is never bored.
If you prefer, we can look after your small pets at your home, where we call in daily for feeding, cleaning and care.
House Sitting
We offer a house sitting service where we can either stay full-time in your home, keeping it safe and secure, or call in daily to take in post, water house and garden plants, open and close curtains and switch lights on and off.
Pets can also be looked after too, if you require this service along with the house sit.
Your house keys are kept in a secure locked location with no identification for your peace of mind.
Dog Sitting
We can combine House Sitting with Dog care in your own home as many owners prefer their dogs to stay in their own home environment if they feel they don't want to put them into kennels or board them in the sitters home.
Some dogs are just not suitable for any other care as it is too stressful for them.
We understand this and have cared for dogs this way before and find it to be the ideal situation for both dog and their owner.
We can walk your dog daily as per your requirements and
look after them as if they were our own.
We will send you daily updates so you know how your pet is doing so you know they are healthy and happy.
Gardening
We also offer a range of gardening services.
These include, grass cutting, weeding, hedge and bush trimming and cutting back small trees.
We can offer regular maintenance to keep your garden looking it's best, or a one off tidy up.
Please just ask and we can tailor our service to suit your needs.
We will dispose of any waste generated and leave your garden looking neat and tidy.
