Michelle is fantastic at her job and with dogs. The difference in my beagle after only a few short weeks of having Michelle on board for weekly walks has been incredible. My beagle had developed a reactive behaviour to a specific breed as well as slight nervousness around other dogs, which was causing disruptive and sometimes stressful walks, and the change in his behaviour on walks is amazing, he is calmer, less reactive and walks have become enjoyable again. Michelle is working with him still, as well as supporting us with walks around work shifts - we love that everything she does is all around positive reinforcement training, that was super important to us. We know our boy is in safe and capable hands with Michelle, as well as being with someone who is knowledgeable, understanding of beagles and great to get along with. We have learnt a lot from Michelle about canine behaviour I don’t think we would have ever have picked up on, and I feel comfortable to ask for help and any questions I have, she puts you completely at ease. Initial sessions were used to help with responses to loud noises in public, however recent sessions have been used to re socialise her after a trauma (dog bite). A massive thank you to Michelle at Pawsitive DogLife,you've made a massive difference! 10/10 for punctuality and communication too by responding to my last minute request for help and working around my working schedule too- what a star. What inspired you to start your own business?
My reactive dog harper inspired me to start a business that offered something different to other dog walking businesses.
Why should our clients choose you?
I always put the dog first and every dog deserves a pawsitive walk.
I tailor my services to what is best for the dog and their family.
Solo dog walk
This is ideal for the more challenging dog. Or for anxious and reactive dogs.
Or you want basic training to be included in the walk ideal for puppies.
Small group walk
If your dog is ok to be socialised they can be part of a small group walk where focus and attention can still be given in bundles.
Pop in service
This service can be used if you just want your dog cared for at home, toilet break, feeding, cuddles, play time, enrichment activities and more. Ideal for puppies, elderly dogs or dogs in operation recovery.
