the food is amazing here, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is clean and well kept, so picturesque in its surroundings, definitely worth a stay or visit

Dropped in the first day after easing from ‘Lockdown’ to Tier 2 status for a lunchtime meal. Wonderful dining room and bar with wood burner brightening an otherwise cold, wet day. Felt safe and secure. Meal was a triumph. Well don M&M! More...

Very nice building and grounds, also staff were good our host was excellent, however other members of staff were laughing and joking about it felt unprofessional. The prices were were high so we expected high quality but again the food was just OK. Shame as I was hoping for more. More...

The location is great and the building and bedroom lovely and although the reception staff were very helpful the bar and restaurant experience was very average but for top end prices. I expected more from this place. It didn’t feel like somewhere putting the effort into the customer experience to ensure repeat business and recommendations. Unfortunately we are very unlikely to go back. More...

We visited the Mytton Mermaid Hotel today for Sunday Lunch. On arrival we were greeted warmly, and the new social distancing rules were explained accurately and with a friendly manner. After a couple drinks in the beautiful gardens we were shown to our table in the dining room which was arranged with 2 metre space between tables. Our Sunday roast was superb, and would definitely recommend it. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and did everything possible to make us feel safe and relaxed. Thank you all, we will return soon More...
