Too many students try to learn the rules for a particular topic without trying to understand where they come from or how they work. My approach is to teach understanding, so that as the amount of work to be remembered increases, it can be kept manageable by linking together different topics with the same logic.

Maths Tutoring
I offer one-to-one tutorials, online, in any area of Mathematics from GCSE to A-level, University Entrance papers, and University undergraduate degree level. University courses I have experience in helping with include Maths, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Computing, and Psychology.
Tutorials can be whatever you want them to be: going through questions you’ve been set, revising topics for exams or tests, teaching new topics from scratch. For some of my students, I am the sole teacher for Maths or Further Maths, teaching every aspect of the syllabus and managing every area of their learning.
Maths Consultancy
I offer consultancy services in Mathematics, providing solutions to particular problems that you may have in most areas of pure or applied mathematics, including Statistics.
I provide written support materials for teachers in schools and Universities.
