Very pretty spot overlooking a private marina. Good food, very friendly young lady who took our order. My only gripe would be that the quiche portion was a bit on the small side and my husband would have liked to put his own gravy on as he doesn't like to flood the plate. Had a great couple of days at the lazy otter,staff,(bar man ,GARY,and GEORGIE,) absolutely spot on, couldn't be more helpful,(BEN ,the waiter,) young in years , manor's of older years, don't get that from Young's ones now a days, (owner, not sure of name, but a superb cook, ) the staff are a credit to her, definitely visit again, MARK,

A wonderful pub and restaurant. A game of two halves! Frankly not great first impressions either from road (or from River, where we approached from). Went there with two friends and their two dogs. Food wasn't served until 6pm and the lady, presumably local, hadn't been to St Ives (about 6 miles) on her life! When food arrived, it was really quite nice and served by pleasant and attentive staff. We took the bones from my ribs as a doggy bag for the two animal companions. The cook in a really nice touch brought out some cold sausages for the dogs. All in all a nice place let down by poor first impressions! Going back later from our boat to watch women's football. Such a welcoming pub! Tucked away by the river, it is a beautiful quiet setting. The owners are so welcoming and the pub is truly dog friendly as we found out on our first outing with our pup. She loves going there as much as we do and we are now regulars! All the locals are friendly and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. A great selection of wines too!
