I don't really like eating inside here as it is quite dark but this time we were in the conservatory and it was absolutely superb! Magical setting surrounded by floral arrangements and lanterns and terracotta pots. The service was excellent (thanks Momo!) and nothing was too much trouble. We were celebrating a friend's special birthday and she absolutely loved it.I really don't like the 2 hour time slots but they do their very best to be flexible.Great place and I am already looking forward to my next visit. Had a lovely high tea with a friend here. Just the right amount of food for a high tea and they happily swapped in a hot chocolate instead of tea or coffee. Very reasonably priced for high tea in London. I would happily come here again.Didn't manage to get a seat in the garden but the inside is nice. Best tea I've ever had. I wish I knew how they made it. Very reasonably price for afternoon tea as far as prices go in that area. They have a lovey garden if your lucky enough to be seated out there. They don't take reservations for a particular area. In the winter they do have an indoor garden area. We had a reservation and it only took a short while to be seated. Other people showed up at the same time as us and had to come back later in the eve. Be sure to make a reservation. More...

Top class in every way possible. A group of us had lunch booked for 14.30 and finished when we left at about 3 hours later. Each of us had 3 courses with different dishes, all were absolutely delicious and presented beautifully.The service was great- very friendly, helpful and efficient staff . It was no problem for them to attend to the very late arrival of one of the group even though lunch time was almost over.
