I went and had a couple of hours in the Hypnohut with Ali and I came out someone else! The me that walked through the door was an overweight 60yr old with a pretty dysfunctional past, that was only seeing Ali to lose weight. Oh Boy! All of us know by now that when you think you know what you went to see Ali for in the first place is probably not what you really really needed to see her for. So I went in an overweight, mentally fragmented wreck and came out with all the past me's joined up together and I actually felt completely different, sort of complete. Ali you are a truly gifted lady!! The biggest bonus was that as you put my mind back together you kind of did the same for my body, I had suffered for years with Peripheral Neuropathy (numb bits) on my feet and my hands, its not exactly known what causes it but its not helped by stress, particularly the type of stress that I definitely didn't have. Guess what Ali, the numbness has almost gone! Oh and by the way, I'm now one and a half stones lighter and still going down! and when I laugh, all of me laughs, often! Its like a bubble that just keeps on bubbling. If I live to be a 100 anything over the 60 mark is going to be lived by all of me, joyously, I can't say thank you enough, I know you always say that its our own will that is working the changes but I certainly wouldn't have been able to do it without you as a catalyst. I was labelled as 'Miss Sceptical' by the lovely Ali. My reason was that I have tried CBT, Counselling, both NHS and private and also Hypnotherapy with no headway made at all. At my first session with Ali, I expected to cry a lot, but I ended up laughing so much. Ali is not the "please think about your breathing and coping mechanisms" type of therapist, but straight talking, to the point and explanatory. I find refreshing, and as hard as it is to hear what she says sometimes, it works for me. This lady is always there for support between sessions and is honest but professional in her approach. I still get nervous before my appointments, but Ali is able to put me at ease very quickly and what she has been able to gain from me using her techniques has shocked me as I've "told my story" so many times with little understanding or help. I cannot recommend this lady enough. Whether you are an adult or a child, I would say give Ali a go and you will not regret it! More...

I've had assorted joint problems since I was 9 years old, so almost 24 years. The last fourteen of those have been in almost constant low-level pain with regular spikes to a level that could only be truly controlled with morphine-level painkillers.
Two weeks ago, I ended up standing for over four hours. It took three of those hours for me to realise I wasn't in pain doing something that, not that long ago, would have been excruciating for even half an hour and probably put me out of action for the next day. That is how normal not being in pain has become.
Ali is a very talented lady and also one of the loveliest you could hope to meet too. "Thank you" is not enough!
