A great job completed by Clem on a high top child bed/ furniture unit. This job was clearly harder than we both predicted but he kept going to the finish.

The price at the end doubled from the quoting price which is not great especially at Christmas. Quotes need to be more accurate as it’s not fair or right to put people in that position on your way out of the door.
That frustrated me as when replying to my request, he said he has a triple bunk he put up for his kids so you’d think the quote would be more accurate as he’s done it before. Was also quoted by the hour and told it would take 2 hours but it took 4. When I offered my drill to help, it was declined. Said part of his drill he had left at home so everything was done manually by hand, hence an extra 2 hours taken to complete the job at my expense.
Overall the bed is sturdy. But it took double the time and cost double the e amount.

Camille, I am terribly sorry you feel that way. I genuinely thought I did a great job as fast as I could. I build furniture a lot and sometimes it does take longer than expected. I have refunded you for the 4th hour and only charge you for 3hrs. I don't think I need a two star review because I did make amends to which you didn't respond. Regards Clem

What do you love most about your job?
I love nothing more than seeing the gratitude on peoples faces when the work is completed. Many of the people I help are much older people who are no longer able to tend the garden the way they used to. For them, to have access to their much loved garden just to be able to sit and relax like they once did if a life changing experience. That is why I do it in the worst weather - It makes someone's day better.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A friend came to me in desperate need of help to have his father's garden maintained. I didn't want to do it at first but because I work on a golf course and have a pretty high standard, he came to me for help. His father is 80yrs old and just wanted to walk in the garden to get fresh air. I helped him out in the end because I could see how much of a difference it would make to his father. I have been doing it since.
Why should our clients choose you?
Anybody can cut your cut grass but not everybody is reliable & trust worthy. In the same breath not everybody will price you correctly and will exploit your weakness. My customers ask me to come back and many are repeat customers and I some leave their properties open for me to come in an finish the work. You don't trust people like this if you're not good, reliable or trustworthy.

Stack up multiple jobs to get done in a day. Add a few more days if the job is too big to get done in a day.
1 day: £350
3 days: 945 (10%) cheaper/ day.
5 days:1490 ( 15%) cheaper/ day.
More than 5 days is 20% cheaper per day.
Prices do not include materials & parts because prices fluctuate and can often be hard to factor costs in.
