My football team recently had our Christmas night out in The Green and I cannot thank the staff and owners enough for the service they provided the 20 of us with. As you can imagine a rowdy amateur football team can be difficult to manage but the staff were impeccable. they even brought us out some bowls of chips and spring rolls. Went to The Green today for a Sunday Roast. It was perfect! Amazingly well cooked food (and I used to be a pub chef!) Perfect portion sizes and a bill that was easy to swallow. Staff were attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend the Green... and their Sunday roast! More...

Went for mother in law’s Birthday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Food was freshly prepared, service was friendly and efficient. I had the fish and it was gorgeous! 2 of our party had the mac n cheese and my mother in law had a burger - really tasty, very generous portions and kids menu amply sized. booked a table online for the fathers day lunch and was not disappointed. we went upstairs so our 7 year old daughter could enjoy the play area. this was kitted out with iPads and other toys for the younger children. Service was attentive and the girls were all very friendly and helpful. It was beautiful, we had the Sunday roast beef was beautifully cooked and veg was prefect, gravey to die for! Kids had mac'n'cheese and fish and chips! 11 year old didn't know if child mac'n'cheese would be too small or adults was too big, but child portion was perfect and even !at her replace the side with her favorite salad. Fish in batter melted in your mouth, was lovely.. Staff were super and nothing was to much trouble, felt very welcomed even tho it was busy and we got squeezed in. Play area is super!! My 11 year old loved the tablets, while young kids loved trains, Lego and toy shop!.. Something Haddington is very much in need off for familys.
