We're just a little too far away for delivery, but the food is well worth the 40 minute round trip. This evening we had Greek salad, feta saganaki, Pastitsio, Stifado and a mixed Souvlaki box. Very disappointing after previously being a happy customer. There was an item missing from our order and we called them straight away but couldn't get through. So instead we tried their Facebook messenger. No reply. I left it a couple of days and sent another message but still no reply. They post regularly on Facebook so I also put a comment on a post a few days later politely asking them if they could resond to my message. I have been ignored by The Greek each time. I understand mistakes happen and sometimes items can be missed from orders, but the business needs to deal with these problems and respond to its customers. As we were continuously ignored, we contacted Barnsley Eats who apologised on their behalf and told us The Greek say their social media is not attached to the owners...?? Their social media represents their business and they can find the time to post photos but not respond to their customers so I don't buy the excuse. 10 days later and still no reply but can still post and they can also reply to Barnsley Eats about this issue but not us. Collected last night for the first time and wow it was amazing, the gyros were huge!! We were surprised as normally they are a lot smaller, the halloumi fries were perfection and tried the garlic pitta with feta, we didn’t expect what it looked like however it was unbelievable. Negative review. Sadly dissapointed. £23 for hallumi wrap, veggie wrap and zucchini fritters. Delivered 50 mins late and cold on arrival. Zucchini fritters £5.95- 4 very small, flat thin and greasy fritters delivered. I would expect double the portion at this price. Veggie wrap not really as described by restaurant. Very disappointed with our order! 2 gyro boxes, meat was very fatty, so bland and dry, very overpriced for what you get in it. Kids had chips they weren’t nice very soggy. Been looking forward to trying this for a few week. went tonight and ordered chicken gyro, a mixed gyro and mixed gyro portion. The mixed gyro was full of fatty meat quite unedable. The mixed gyro portion which was the most expensive at £10.40 was a joke. 4 small pieces of pitta, a few salad leafs with a small amount of meat and a few chips. Absolutely incredible. Just ordered from here for the first time and will certainly be back. We had Gyros, Halloumi fries and skin on chips.
