On 28/06/2021 I was rushed to A & E at Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham. I had a kidney infection which turned to sepsis. The hospital staff were amazing, but there is only so much they can do. They operated to drain the kidney and fitted a temporary nephrostomy tube and bag. I was told they had never seen anything so bad. I was in hospital almost a week. On the day of my discharge the consultant came to have a chat. He said he was absolutely amazed at my recovery. I should have died! They had never seen anyone recover from sepsis as quickly as I did. I was on high dose intravenous antibiotics for 6 days, and normally I should have followed up by taking them orally for 3 months. He said I had no need to do that because blood tests showed all the sepsis had gone from my bloodstream. I was, he said, amazing!
What I didn’t tell him was that it wasn’t a miracle, it was all due to Karena and her Reiki healing.
Because of covid restrictions within the hospital I wasn’t allowed any visitors. So, Karena had been sending me Reiki healing by distance. Then she gained permission to come onto the ward and gave me first hand healing. I was allowed home before the intended day, and without any further medication, because my recovery had been so rapid and so good!
I completely believe this was down to Karena’s Reiki healing.
Also, on my ward there was an elderly lady who cried and shouted all night long, preventing everyone else from having any sleep. Karena sent Reiki healing to the said lady and to the whole ward. For the rest of the time I was on that ward that lady slept all night and so did the rest of us.
I believe because of karena’s Reiki healing.
I was told that the sepsis had been caused by a blockage in my ureter. I was then told that the blockage was probably cancer. Karena told me categorically that this was definitely NOT cancer, but the medics remained convinced that it was cancer.
I underwent many tests to try to ascertain the nature of the blockage. Eventually I was told that it definitely was not cancer. When they went in to do a biopsy, they didn’t find anything solid to test; there was only “fluffy mucosa” there.
At a subsequent meeting with another consultant, he told me that I shouldn’t be here. I should be dead! In all their experience they had never seen a kidney as large as mine was and so full of puss. It should have burst, and that would have been fatal. They have no idea why it didn’t burst. Once again I was told I am amazing and a walking miracle.
Again, I believe the miracle came about because of Karena’s Reiki healing.
I was shown scans taken on my admission to hospital, then some taken a few weeks later. My poorly kidney had recovered somewhat, but was still larger than normal and a strange shape, and not working at full capacity. I was given a nuclear scan 8 months after my admission to hospital, to test how my kidneys were working. The consultant said that kidneys don’t usually recover from such severe damage as I had and that if it hadn’t recovered sufficiently there was no point keeping it, so he would remove it.
After the scan I had another consultation and was told that my kidney was now working just below full capacity. That it is now working at the “normal” rate for someone of my age, 71. This was totally unexpected. Once again he told me I was “amazing”.
I have been having Reiki sessions with Karena during this period.
So, once again I repeat that it has got to be Karena and her Reiki healing that is amazing!
I was also told that it would take at least 18 months to recover from the severe sepsis, and that I may never get back to my usual energetic self. Well once again the medics were wrong.
I was very tired and down for a while, but Karena has continued to give me Reiki healing and within a much shorter time than predicted I was back to my old self. I have lots of energy and continue to feel exceptionally good. I did test positive for covid a few weeks ago, but had virtually no symptoms and no ill effects.
I firmly believe that I am a walking miracle.
I should not be here. I should have died last year. I should have kidney disease. I should be waiting to have my kidney removed. I should be tired and lethargic, totally lacking in energy and vava voom.
I am none of the above. I am alive and kicking with a good healthy, working kidney and boundless energy. I have my life and my mojo back.

As a post script to my review I would like to add that my husband has suffered with asthma all his life. Because of his asthma he has had a continuous cough for years. As a consequence of the cough he has been unable to eat nuts, which he loves, as they cause him to have a serious coughing fit.
Karena has given him Reiki healing.
She has cured his continuous cough. He is cough free.
He is able to eat nuts in abundance now and they do not cause him to cough.
