We’ve just had the best roast dinner from The Galley. Couldn’t fault it at all, we chose to collect and the service was impeccable the food was so so so good. Parsnip purée... unbelievable. My hubby and i were here last night. Fabulously presented and enjoyable cuisine. Sensible spacing of tables as per Covid regulations. Very clean looking restaurant. Hubby would appreciate a few more ales on the menu. James was very welcoming and i would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Super clean and tip top decorating perfected our experience. We had a lovely meal at the Galley on Saturday, could not fault the presentation or service. The duck and lamb were both cooked to perfection. The desert was one of the best myself and partner have enjoyed. We have been lucky enough to eat at some great restaurants around the world and to have this place so close on Hythe Marina is a credit to both the owners and the staff. Being real foodies and very excited about a new local resteraunt, my parents and I decided to give the new Galley Hythe resteraunt a go. We were not disappointed! New interior was on point for the location, our host was accommodating and friendly with a clear passion for their product, which did not disappoint. The roast dinner was incredible, beautifully cooked meat, delicious veg, gravy to die for, fondant roast potatoes wow and we couldn't resist ordering the cauliflower cheese... pure indulgence! Finished with home made pudding and local cheeses with chutneys and chimichurri made in house. Obviously a baileys to finish! Thank you so much, a Sunday afternoon well spent.
