Always an excellent experience at this lovely homely pub. The food is always delicious. Specials of 2 meals for £15 is very good value. We found this pub on the way home from Lepe beach. It was New Year's Day, about 2.15, and we had our GSD Sabah with us. I went to see if they were "dog friendly" and was greeted at the door by Monty, which answered the question, but I still checked if we could eat and where to sit. Three of us had lunch, ham egg and chips and 2 scampi and chips which arrived quite quickly considering the bar was busy and they had been open for celebrations the previous night/morning.
