Recently purchased a treadmill from Paul at The Fitness Store for over £500 within a couple of weeks it has a very loud creaking noise so much so we have stopped using it. I reported this to Paul over a week ago and he said he would inform the rep and get an engineer out. Having waited a week I still have not heard from Paul so chased up today to be told he had to send proof of purchase to supplier to get an engineer however he also said he would listen to another treadmill he had recently sold to see if that had a noise. (Surely all that matters is I have the problem)All I want is an engineer out to fix the problem but Paul has now said he will bypass supplier and get his own engineer to me but can't say when. So I currently have a £500 treadmilll that does not sound safe to use. Paul has now asked me to send a video of the noise to him but surely having reported this over a week ago this should of been requested then.Feeling rather concerned that I should of gone to a big retailer rather than a smaller company as it is proving very tricky to get a straight answer from The Fitness Store.I will of course improve my review should this matter be resolved anytime soon let's wait and see........I am pleased to say that the problem has been resolved. Within minutes of posting this I have an engineer in the phone. More...
