I highly recommend the Sewing workshop for beginners. A fantastic afternoon of learning basics and practising French seam, flat fell seam and invisible zip on the sewing machine and overlocker. Very nice facilities and instructor too. 5 stars! More...

I've been to the introduction to sewing class and make a dress. Overall good teaching and techniques. The only thing I'd say if perhaps facilities could be a little better for people attending but overall a good experience. Will be going back for more!

My sisters and I attended the Kimono making workshop. We are all so pleased with our kimonos. My sisters haven’t used a sewing machine for over 30 years but Craig was patient and so helpful! Thanks Craig!

Having moved to new surroundings the new home for The Fashion Box was a bit of a building site when I headed here for an Introduction to Sewing workshop. But the new site looks like it will be great when it's completed.The workshop was wonderfully organised and a really fun few hours (and I didn't break the sewing machine so we'll say I did well....). A great introduction - I'm really not a natural sewer but clear instructions and a well organised teaching set up meant that I felt I actually learnt something and did much better than I, or my Year 9 textiles teacher, would have expected.Lou was a brilliant teacher, and lovely and friendly through the afternoon.
