Jess was a warm and welcoming individual who followed the brief but added her own creative touches to make a fantastic video for our Dean Edwards Pop Up Restaurant at Symonds at Redwood. Jess was able to film some great footage, including drone which she managed to edit on the same night to create a promotional video that we could launch the following morning. We briefed The Digital Ladder to record the single ‘When a Child is Born’ and to create the professional music video, promoting it online with a view to raising invaluable awareness for us, combined with much-needed income for our charity from download sales. They managed six-year-old Lyra Cole’s Christmas single in aid of the charity from conception to releasing it across major platforms with social media support. It topped the Amazon Music Chart, reached number 16 in the Official UK Downloads Chart, generated £9,000+ in donations, 615+ pieces of PR, reached 121 million worldwide and generated 14k+ visitors to our website. Levels of media coverage were unprecedented and thanks to The Digital Ladder’s flexibility in responding to media interview requests and its management expertise, Lyra appeared on This Morning with Phillip Scofield and Holly Willoughby, as well as BBC Breakfast, Sky News and ITV News.
