What do you love most about your job?
Whether its an Adult or Child, I love to bring creativity to everyone's everyday. When I run the events, I love watching everyone transform their blank canvas into their very own painting. The picture we are all doing is the same, but everyone's is unique and very different. I love this, seeing how people add there own style and touches.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For me art was my therapy, I had experience a bit of a tough spot in life, had issues with mental health and art was my solace. When I paint everything melts away, its just me the paintbrush and the canvas. My mind clears, and I am completely in the moment. I want to bring that calm to other peoples lives, and prove to them that you don't need to be a master artist to create something that you can be proud of. Let's ditch the screens, and channel our inner Picasso.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm fun and informal, but professional. I try my best to make everyone relaxed and ensure they all get involved. If i'm at one of my pop up at the local pub you can usually find me grinning from ear to ear, drinking a beer, and walking round helping everyone. (Switch the beer with a carton of Ribena if i'm at a kids party)
Having a bright blank canvas can be quite daunting, I hope that my teaching approach will make everyone at ease and walk away with something they can grin about.

Haven't got the space to run it at home? That's okay, we can arrange a venue that will host.
Childrens Birthday - The Crafty Critters
Tailored for the younger, larger groups. Allowing kids to get creative and messy with a range of mediums using hands, feet and brushes they can explore textures freely and create a group master piece. With their favourite games mixed in with art themed prizes, followed by tailored mini canvases that the Children can take home and hang proudly on their walls.
Recommended age range 3 - 6
Childrens Party - Canvas Creators
A mini pop up event for the older kids - let them explore putting paint to canvas for the first time with a tailored picture of their favourite characters. With easy to follow instructions from our friendly tutors, we will help their imaginations come to life.
Recommended age range 6+
The painting design will be tailored to the birthday boy/girl choice and age range.
Corporate Event
Team Away Day? Executive Workshop? Stuck for new innovative ideas to get people thinking outside the box? Why not get the creative juices flowing with team members working together to create a picture, or a specific image designed for the group. We offer hosting at one of our partner venues, or we can come to you. The Crafty Canvas will work with you to tailor the event that fits with your business values and goals for the day. Pop Up Art Nights
Our Pop-Up events are tailored for all, we partner with local venues throughout Surrey and surrounding areas to bring creativity to your doorstep. Our friendly instructors will take you step by step through creating your very own masterpiece. Just purchase your favourite tipple from the bar, book your spot and we will provide the rest.
