Excellent service!! Suzie has such a natural way with dogs, one of mine can be a bit difficult and is a bit spooky about going with people he doesn’t know, but right from day dot he bounced out the door with Suzie! They are always very content after being out with The Cottage Barker...thanks so much Suzie for building a special bond with our pooches and giving them fun walkies! More...

Suzi has been walking my pup for a few months now. From the first walk (he was 10 months) Suzi was comfortable to have him off lead, she took time to get to know his traits, then introduced him to other dogs for a small group walk.
My guy gets his hour walk (not an hour including pick up and drop off) a full hour walk - which is what I want and need.
Suzi is a dog lover through and through, she has also helped with some advise when my wee guy had an upset tummy. I love that my pup is happy, I’m very comfortable when he’s is suzie hands. Thank you so much for making my wee guy happy and safe 👏🏽🐾🐶

Suzanne has walked my dog Sully on several occasions & he always loves his time at The Cottage Barker. She has a natural instinct with all breeds of dogs and has helped me out with training tips & advice which has proved invaluable as a 1st time dog owner. I would highly recommend Suzanne to others as I always know Sully is in safe hands & is having a great time on his walks. Suzanne has walked my puppy Sullivan on several occasions. I don't trust many people with my boy but Suzanne has a natural instinct with all breeds of dogs. She also offered me tips & advice with his training which is a huge help to me as a 1st time dog owner. She has 2 very well trained dogs herself and Sully loves spending time with them too. She keeps me updated with photos & videos of him having a great time whilst out on their walks together. The only problem I have is trying to get him to come home after having so much fun with Suzanne!!! I would highly recommend The Cottage Barker to everyone. What do you love most about your job?
I love being outside and seeing dogs enjoying themselves on their walk, like most dog lovers I’ve spent my life around dogs, I grew up on a farm, we had 4 dogs, a collie, two labradors and a wee jack Russel, they all had very different character traits and that fascinated me, from an early age I wanted to learn what made them tick... and now I get to work with them #livingthedream
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have walked and cared for dogs all my life, I grew up on a farm where we had 4 dogs that I was responsible for, and we provided a small kennel service to the local area.... I have always had dogs, I currently have two energetic boys, a border terrier (digger) and a bearded collie cross (Bosley) I love all breeds of dogs and especially those that are no particular breed... I am always outside no matter what the weather and have always been self employed so it was a small step for me and I absolutely love it!
Why should our clients choose you?
I had a dog walker myself for several years so I understand the importantance of having someone you can rely on while you’re at work, it takes the stress out of dog ownership knowing that someone is looking after your pooch almost as well as you do!
