Wonderful afternoon tea, bought the Groupon deal and was very pleased, wonderful cafe and staff and great fresh sandwiches, scones and tray bakes all topped off with a festive gingerbread latte. Will definitely be back.

I brought my mum for afternoon tea (xmas one). Lovely toasties with stuffing, turkey and ham, snowy roads, cinnamon scones and apple cake from memory. Was lovely and the staff were extremely accomodating. They even gave us takeaway boxes for leftovers, which other groups wouldnt. We will be back for more More...

Visited The Cooks Cafe for Festive Afternoon Tea with the family and I must say it was outstanding.
Enjoyed delicious Turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches, cinnamon and fruit scones with mince pies and pastries, finishing it off with gingerbread men and gingerbread lattes.
Staff very friendly!
Highly recommend it. Better than the Merchant Hotel!

Went to this wee place today, friendly, polite service
Food was excellent, and catered for 5 of us, nothing was a bother and they even gave us 2 (beautiful large scones) to take home, and also crisps for the kids.
Will definitely be back! Cheers guys, 10/10 �

My friends and I went yesterday for the chocolate afternoon tea. The sandwich and tray bakes were outstanding! All home made and so good! The rocky road was my favourite,il be back just for that! :-) the staff were lovely and in fact I had lost my Groupon voucher and they very kindly sourced it for us so we didn't lose out!
