Very nice café with a very helpful owner and staff. I asked for coffee beans to buy, and even though they don't usually sell them, they bagged up some of their catering beans for me.

Excellent little cafe with very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was homemade and very tasty, and they were very accommodating with our kids' unadventurous tastes. The coffee here is well made, and most importantly, the right size - you get a coffee that you can taste rather than one that is drowned in water or milk. Highly recommended. More...

Excellent food and friendly service! The only thing I can dock them for is that they are in a rather cramped building with lots of steps if you're wanting to eat upstairs. Not great if you're coming with a baby in a pram. More...

Just lovely. Really cosy. Manages to feel friendly and totally unobtrusive in quite a compact space. I'm here now eating an amazing Tunisian orange cake. Relaxed and totally unhurried. Will probably become a regular . More...

Always fabulous food and lovely staff. The food has a Mediterranean /Moroccan twist, freshly made by creative, clever people! Today, we enjoyed Spanish beans and chorizo on ciabatta but, sadly, we were too full up to have a piece of the gorgeous Tunisian Orange Cake - which is to die for! It's definitely one of the best places to eat. More...

A gem of an independant cafe. Sooooo friendly in here and the best scrambled eggs in Exeter, if not Devon.

What’s your signature dish?
Barbecued chicken is always popular (boned thighs are excellent for barbecuing) and butterflied legs of lamb marinated and cooked for 45minutes .
What do you love most about your job?
The pure creativity of each job and the exhausting effort needed to get to the end!
What inspired you to start your own business?
A love of food an a realisation that barbecuing can offer so much (15years ago when we started the quality of catering barbecues was...not so great)
Why should our clients choose you?
Always consider me if you want high quality, high output, great flavours and the amazing smells and theatrics! while the food is cooking.
