We happened to find this place wandering round looking for somewhere to have breakfast and so glad we did! My friend ordered the breakfast with asparagus but unfortunately the chef wasnt happy with it so she had avocado instead. A new breakfast was born. I had the cooked breakfast, so much choice to create it from and when i said i cant have bread was immediately offered gluten free at no extra cost. Fantastic!!!! Called in after late night shopping. A friend recommended and we'd were so glad she did! We had a delicious meal in a lovely relaxed atmosphere (well, apart from a bit of a kerfuffle when the owners outdoor parasol blew away! ). Me and my friend both had the Philly steak sandwich with chips which was so tasty and fresh. I had a mini mulled wine (2 actually!) - WOW! The best I've ever tasted! We finished off with coffee. We chatted with the lovely owner Gary who swerved our food. Thanks Gary!

We were at the Chancery on the 25th for Christmas Dinner, it was a lovely experience.
From the starter to the dessert, couldn’t fault it, cooked perfectly and the main was nice and hot.
The service was top class nothing was too much trouble. Really good atmosphere lots of good music and some people were having a sing along which helped to make it really festive.
I was with my Daughter, her boy friend and his mum great company, eating out for Christmas at the Chancery was a great success. More...

First visit yesterday, it was an informal wine tasting session.
Have to say I was impressed by the selection of wines on offer at very reasonable prices. The accompanying tapas were absolutely top drawer too. Very impressed by the intimacy of the private dining facility.

Wanted to try somewhere new and a friend had mentioned he'd heard of this. We went late afternoon and found the staff really welcoming and friendly - as they were throughout our meal.
I had a burger and my wife had a Philly cheese streak. The burger was delicious and I have to admit the Philly cheese steak was even better.

Have visited on a few occasions, one for Christmas night out which was lovely food and wine lovely. Big group of us and waitress was very stretched but was very good and if anyone had any issues she did rectify them quickly. Food was lovely so tasty and presented well.
Then came for afternoon tea with my hubby for his birthday and the service was outstanding. Nothing was too much for the waiter and always polite. Will be returning again and would recommend anytime. More...

Amazing staff, food and service!! held a baby shower here on Sunday for my sister in law!! From the minute we booked to when we collected balloons and items left the day after, nothing was a problem. All the staff put us at ease and the chef was brilliant catering for dietary needs, children ect. She even made personlised baby girl cupcakes and a cake!! Food was beautiful!! Waitress service to the tables all day. Breta (one of the owners) was brilliant!! Tables decorated lovely prosecco on arrival!! She even presented the mummy to be with a lovely gift!! Had a Groupon deal for afternoon tea and I have to say it was a fabulous experience. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. I booked this when we were in Liverpool for a visit for a hen weekend. There was 10 of us for afternoon tea and prosecco. It was absolutly amazing ! We go so much sandwhiches. We've just recently had our wedding reception here and absolutely loved it. We had the best day ever and we couldn't have picked a better place. Bretta and Natalie couldn't have done anymore for us and catered for all our needs and wishes. The meal was intimate and food was great. The team decorated the venue to make it look even more fabulous than what we expected. All the staff are friendly and professional and our guests commented on how great the venue and the food was. Would recommend here to anyone else looking for a venue for a party or wedding.
