So I knew nothing about coffee, until I got chatting to the owner. He gave us a tour of which coffees were which and what to expect from a brew and what was sweet and which were a bit more sour. Highly educational. I've been before, but always had a tea. Maybe I'll work my way through the coffees next.And that's before we talk about the cake... Just have some, you'll not regret it.All in all... If your in Downton, sorry, Bampton, just go: it's what Lady Mary would do. More...

Popped into the cafe for a treat for my daughter. Enjoyed very tasty cake- I had coffee and walnut and my daughter a chocolate grenache sponge with orange- with pot of tea and hot chocolate with marshmallows. Very reasonably priced. Michelle has so far made 2 birthday cakes and a wedding cake. She has even accommodated requests such as egg free.
Michelle is very responsive, asks questions, offers advice so you really get what you want.
The cakes are beautiful in taste and look and quite often exceed expectations.
The wedding consultation was excellent and included a tasting session. Michelle was able to recreate a masterpiece from a pin interest screenshot!
So far we have not been disappointed and very glad we found the The Cake Element Bakery. There is no need to go anywhere else and also supporting a local business.

We recently moved to Bampton and hadn't yet had a chance to visit this inviting looking shop (who doesn't like cake, right?
)
Friendly welcome was, well, welcome. Turmeric latte is my new favourite thing and the fruit cake (complete with substantial layer of marzipan topping) was an instant hit with me and my daughter. Moist, tasty, even distribution of fruit and no stinting on the marzipan. Perfect! Can't wait for another treat. Thank you!

The amazing owners have helped me bring our joy to my family, by hand delivering delicious treats and gift cards.
I called them and they went over and above. Afternoon tea, Easter cupcakes and a unique gift card so that my niece can attend a unicorn cake decorating class.
These guys made gift giving from the USA � to the UK a breeze - �Thank You ����
