Courtyard Bridal is a quaint little boutique in the pretty village of Winterborne Kingston. Away from the high street, my customers can enjoy a 1-2-1 appointment, where they can have a great, relaxed shopping experience.
My rails are filled with beautiful designer gowns by Nicola Anne Bridal, Romantica of Devon and Special Day Bridal, not forgetting an assortment of bridesmaid dresses by Linzi Jay.

I had such a great experience and highly recommend Courtyard Bridal to anyone trying to find their perfect wedding dress. Marie couldn’t be more helpful and made the whole experience amazing and super easy . I went twice, firstly with my mum and sister and then with my friends and both times I felt relaxed and not rushed. Marie offered lots of advice and options to assist with finding the right dress and made me feel extremely comfortable the whole time (lovely also having a glass of Prosecco on arrival). Courtyard Bridal also has lovely accessories to enable you to get the full look of how the dress will be on the day. We visited Marie’s shop 3 times whilst trying to find my sister a wedding dress. Marie is so friendly and accommodating, her dresses are absolutely beautiful and she has a wide range of dresses and accessories. Courtyard Bridal, what a fantastic find! Marie made me feel really relaxed especially for someone who hates clothes shopping and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I went in to see a specific dress which didn’t suit me when I tried it on. Marie then found lots more which were well within budget which I loved. What do you love most about your job?
I just love being a part of the amazing journey our brides embark on to find their perfect dream dress! The feeling I get the moment our brides realise they have found 'the one' just melts the heart!
Witnessing the tears, laughter and sheer excitement confirms to me that I really do have the best job in the world!

What inspired you to start your own business?
I'd always dreamed of having my own bridal shop, but my life took a different path which I enjoyed immensely!
Then just 6 years ago, I became engaged and got the chance to go wedding dress shopping (second time around!)
I had some amazing experiences and loved trying on lots of beautiful gowns, but unfortunately, I also had a couple of which weren't so enjoyable.
I then decided that this is what I wanted to do! I was determined to open up my own Bridal Boutique and offer ladies the best experience I could.
Now, here I am 5 years later and loving every minute of it!
Shopping for your wedding dress should be the most enjoyable, exciting thing you do in the run up to your wedding, and I'm just so fortunate to be able to play a part in it all.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work by appointment only, offering a 1-2-1 service, where you can take your time, have some fun, and have the whole place to yourself.
You will never feel pressured into buying a dress. The most important thing is that when you walk down the aisle you feel and look spectacular!
I will be there to offer lots of help and advice and just ensure you have a great experience.
I will also store your dress for you and give it a complimentary steam just a couple of days before your big day!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
It is so important to keep everyone safe from Covid.
I have completed a couple of online courses which helped me understand exactly how Covid infects people and how to prevent any spread of the disease.
Therefore gloves, masks and sanitizer are all available on entering the shop. Everything is sanitized and cleaned between each appointment and all dresses are either steamed, sprayed or quarantined in between each fitting.
It's all about keeping us all safe.
Bridal Gowns
We sell beautiful designer bridal gowns, ranging from size 8 - 34, from well know designers such as Nicola Anne Bridal, Romantica of Devon and our plus range is by Special Day Bridal.
Bridesmaid Dresses
We sell a made to order range of bridesmaid dresses by Linzi Jay. These beautiful dresses are available from sizes 4-40 and in over 40 different colours.
We also offer a budget range of 'off the peg' bridesmaid dresses for ladies who are working to a smaller budget or have lots of bridesmaids!
Wedding Accessories
Our wedding accessories are of the best quality and design.
