Great Village pub.

Amazing food, and amazing staff, the price for the quality is outstanding for a village pub. I recommend visiting for a nice Sunday roast, or during the week for a great bar menu and great selection of beers

Really, really good. It's just a small place with a pretty cheap menu, but the food was absolutely delicious. I had the gammon, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the service was good, and the locals were friendly. There's also a games room with a darts board and a pool table. More...

Made very welcome by Dave and Jan and all the locals at this lovely old village pub. Sadly arrived 5 minutes too late for food but plenty of snacks to choose from. Will definitely be back sometime in the future. More...

What an excellent night at the Brass Windmill. The curry night was fantastic. The chefs from the Bombay Brassiere were top notch and the way my wife was accommodated with her off menu choices was very much appreciated. A very big thank you to all the staff tonight. I know we’ll be back. More...

We visited the Brass Windmill for the first time this week. We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and were shown into the restaurant. Our drinks arrived promptly. There were a small selection of meals on the specials board as well as their usual menu. My husband had Cajun burger which came with fries and colesaw and I had beer battered fish and chips. Both were delicious and really good value. We couldn't resist a pudding and these were great too: strawberry cheesecake (recently made by the chef) and treacle pudding and custard. Service was really friendly but professional. We were offered additional drinks and coffee. For 2 courses and drinks for 2 people our bill was £29 which we thought was good value for the quality of food. This pub is a definite 'find' and we look forward to returning to try the Sunday lunch! The third time we have visited and this time we had the Sunday roasts. We had beef and pork and it came with a good selection of vegetables and gravy plus a selection of sauces, enough for the three of us. Quickly prepared and served to the table. The desserts were exceptional, ginger pudding, white chocolate cheesecake and chocolate orange cheesecake with custard, ice cream and cream. Very good value for money. More...
