Fab night - met with us before the event to discuss the playlist and our requirements, arrived early to set up, provided amazing lighting for the room and the photobooth was a great hit with the guests, not to mention kept people on the dance floor all night long! Great night last night for Bournmoor Primary Year 6 leavers party where we had The Boogie Knight disco and photo booth. The whole thing was amazing from set up on the afternoon by Kris to the evening where his wife and daughter took to the decks. The photo booth went down a storm. Think it proved a challenge getting the kids on the dance floor at one point ! Cannot wait to see all the photo booth pics. Kris was amazing at my daughter and her boyfriends engagement party last night at Blue Flames. From booking right through to meeting Kris was so smooth. Nothing was a bother. Kris responded very quickly to any email that I sent him. Before the party Kris sent an information form with questions about what music they liked, and disliked, when they wanted to introduce the buffet, even down to what dress code for the DJ was. The music and lighting was superb. Go for the deluxe package (I think it’s called this) it is well worth it. The mood lighting around the room so made the difference. The photo booth was a huge success eventually! After Kris gave a little bit persuasion over the microphone everybody got involved even the grandparents. The photo booth came with a variety of props to ensure no 2 photos looked the same. So glad we asked Kris to help man the booth as it meant the guest book with a copy of the photos and comments is a lovely reminder of the fabulous night that we all had. In a nutshell, give people the music they want to hear, include a little bit of banter to keep the party going, and offer top-class sound and lighting to give them the best show possible.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I do a range of parties from kids' birthdays and christenings to engagements and weddings. I feel that a modern DJ needs to adapt their style to suit the clientele they are working with.
What do you love most about your job?
Entertaining customers throughout the North East and beyond. There's nothing more enjoyable than seeing a full dance floor or happy people having a great time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We felt that there was a market for a higher quality offering than typical budget disco offerings. We focussed on top quality sound and lighting equipment and on offering the extras (such as LED Dance Floors, Photo Booths, LOVE Letters and Mood lighting) that customers would traditionally have had to source elsewhere.
