Lovely feel to this place, nice and cosy :) I went for a Baby Shower, and we had Afternoon Tea. Having had a vegan cream tea from a very expensive boutique hotel, which was awful (a fruit kebab instead of cake! ), so didn't know what to expect from this one. What a delightful surprise! Great place. Food is really tasty especially the cakes. Coffee is decent. The place has some character. Clean and spacious with seating outside. Catering Dream Team!

After searching everywhere for affordable, yet decent quality Catering food for the cast & crew on my recent short film, I found The Bistro!

The owner, Ruth, was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout (mainly via email), she had a professional & clear manner and went above and beyond to ensure I was getting the best value for my money!

As this was a short independent film, the cost savings were invaluable to me and meant I could retain the majority of my budget for my film!

There were so many options for me to choose from, but in the end I picked the 'Daily sandwich platter' - this option was perfect for both my small crew & budget!

There were also many sandwich fillings to choose from daily, for both vegetarians and meat eaters - we never went hungry on set!

Not only that, but they were EXCELLENT sandwiches!
The bread tasted freshly made every day & was very tasty! - I don't think I've ever had fresher tasting sandwiches! :D

The sandwich fillings were also very good, to the point that I ate a whole sandwich before realising it was 'avocado' and enjoyed it! - And I don't even like avocado! :O

The service was also amazing, Ruth personally delivered the platter to me daily, (as the sandwiches were made fresh every morning) with paper plates, napkins and a smile!
She would call me if there was any delays, although there very rarely was!

I would highly recommend The Bistro's Catering services to all!

This is clearly a business run by people who truly care, and really work hard at their good food and service!

They were as surely fabulous - so professional and the food was outstanding. I had 15 guests and every one of them sang their praises, they did me proud!

I picked The Bistro for my wedding as I loved the idea of afteroon tea. Ruth was the only one of the suggested caterers that offered this. I loved the idea of afternoon tea because it's informal, different, down to earth and relaxed, just like us. It is also tasty. Ruth also charged a fair price.The slight challenge was would The Bistro be able to cater for my fussy vegan needs and two guests who were gluten free. This challenge was accepted and successfully met. Nothing was too much trouble. After meeting Ruth at a tasting session, tasting her lovely food and finding her very down to earth and warm, it was a no brainer that I would pick her to cater for my wedding. On the day of the wedding the food looked and tasted amazing! Ruth managed everything seamlessly and efficiently, even with a late ceremony...I didn't need to do a thing and I didn't need to worry about anything. It was all in hand. This helped to make the meal stress free, relaxing and enjoyable. Also the kids lunch boxes were a nice touch as Ruth made them them to match our colour scheme. We had lots of compliments about how nice the food was.
