Joined the gym a few weeks ago, staff are super friendly and welcoming. There's new equipment and never a wait to get on anything, Ethan did my induction and assisted on starting highly recommended really lovely lad, feel at ease to ask if need any support from him or any of the pt staff there. spa was half closed, swiming lessons on Saturday afternoon when we were there for a spa break, wasn't told about it.
wouldn't bother with fire and Ice, one room broken and no sunbeds in conservatory.
you need a second morgage for a round of drinks. I even had to send back two very cloudy beers that I was served. food was nice. did feed back form and requested a call back and not had one to say the least. very poor customer service

How about communicating with your colleagues?
My friend and I were due to come to The Belfrey today to celebrate our friendversary.
Nails followed by afternoon tea courtesy of my son.
My son gave me the vouchers for Christmas to share with my mum who unfortunately passed away suddenly before I could use them. After much sole searching I decided to use the vouchers with my bestie.
On the Sunday my back went into spasm and I spent much of the day seeking medical attention. Realising I would not be able to go I called The Belfry first thing Monday morning hoping to rebook. As I had not given the required 48 hour notice this was not allowed and I lost the vouchers.
Whilst I appreciate The Belfry know nothing of all this I would have thought that such a prestigious resort would have good admin in place.
But no, this morning I had a call from the spa asking where I was. So thank you Belfry for adding insult to injury.

Wow the Buffet is fantastic and the food is scrumptious. A great choice of vegetables and meats. Yummy Yorkshire puddings and pigs in blankets!
Could not fault it !
A superb choice of starters and if you have a sweet tooth the deserts are delightful. Once finished we drank cappuccino’s on the terrace. Highly recommended

Had a lovely afternoon tea in the Brabazon bar, so much food, lots of choice and even a box to take leftovers at the end! Special requests for sandwiches were not a problem and a wonderful plate of scones with a birthday message came for my mom.

Absolutely loved The belfry hotel and spa me and my sister will definitely be coming back very soon, food was gorgeous. Staff was friendly even having a situation in the in the belfry bel air nightclub shout out to Marina who works at the nightclub & for kicking those who tried to steal mine and Lauren’s round of drinks.
spa treatments was also worth it and was both very impressed those that haven’t been the The Belfry hotel and resort I 100% recommended you go!⛳️🥂

I've been here a few times recently for various celebration....spa break fabulous, rooms lovely, service outstanding...cannot do enough for you, afternoon tea great value. ...staff friendly. Saturday night they have live entertainment and upgraded our group to private dining room for my friends 50th which was a lovely surprise when we went down for dinner. The only downside although they have a lots of car parking weekends and even the week it gets full up, so allow time especially if you time bound, you could drive round for 15 mins....it is a golf, conference and spa resort so be prepared for it to be busy....but organised......already planning another trip. We chose this hotel as part of our 10 year anniversary weekend , we wanted to explore Cambridge and even though it’s a little further out , we were sold on the spa part . We received a phone message late evening to say our treatments had been cancelled , couldn’t call back as they literally closed the minute after the missed call ! Wouldn’t have chosen the hotel otherwise . We understand that COVID is still having an impact but the way this was handled spoilt an otherwise lovely weekend More...

And again Easter weekend. But including and two day golf.
Excellent staff.
Very clean and friendly.
Hotels warm and cosy.
Ryder grill is excellent

The grounds were lovely, the pool clean and food in Sam's bar tasty and good value. The room was clean with comfy bed and decent shower.
Drinks are expensive but we expected that.
We were unable to turn the radiator down as the digital dial reset to 22deg after 20 mins so had to have the window open and use a fan as well as covering the radiator.
Didn't really expect a buffet style breakfast for £18.50 but it was ok.
The concierge failed to book taxis for our party when first asked so thank goodness we double checked. And finally on checking out two separate members of our party had £45 to £48 added to their bills for drinks charged to the room.
The charges were removed quickly but it begs the question of how someone managed to do that without providing a room key.

Positives beautiful surroundings, clean spacious bedroom, easy check in /out, lovely food, massage and therapist were very good, the fire and ice experience was enjoyable.
Negatives having to ask staff to clean tables repeatedly in the bar, over priced coffee/tea , pool was over crowed and lots of children in there, only one jacuzzi working, hydro pool heater wasn’t working, no heating in the treatment rooms (they do have heated treatment beds but the rooms were uncomfortable) staff unable to help with basic requests (clean blankets in relaxation room)
The hotel was lovely but heavily let down by the spa and some staff.

My husband and I booked a night here for our childfree minimoon! I had an amazing back cleansing massage, the lady was really professional, down to earth and clearly knew her stuff! Also enjoyed using the facilities in the Fire and Ice Spa. In the evening we went to the Ryder bar and Grill...WOW. The best food we have ever had. Lovely selection of fresh seafood and salads for starters followed by lots of lovely selections for mains. Fresh and tasty, cannot fault it. Cocktails were amazing too. Staff at the restaurant and around the hotel were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. We had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Thank you! More...

I have been a customer of the Belfry hotel for many years and have enjoyed several Day Spa experiences with my family but today I have been truly let down and left very disappointed with the Spa.
My family and I originally had a spa day booked for January which was cancelled (very last minute by the spa) due to a previous fire.
We then rebooked for March all dates confirmed via email and today on trying to arrange the times I am told we are not booked in and there is no availability,
Belfry hotel and Spa we will not be returning and the customer services experience leaves a lot to be desired.
