We used Colleen for the first time last night for Kiara our German Shepherd and we are very impressed. Colleen is a lovely lady, brilliant with your dogs, they smell amazing. loved the personal touch of the little bow. Kiara came back one chilled pup. We are that impressed our other GSD is also booked in Having lived abroad for a few years we were unsure of where to go and I certainl1y was NOT going to pay over the odds at the likes of the groom room at pets at home. Colleen is the most reasonably priced dog groomer we have found and does and amazing job. Chester our Cockerpoo was very hairy after lockdown but came back from his visit to Colleen looking brand new. Fantastic cut and he was in good spirits so he obviously enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend.

We had our dog Millie cut for the first time today with Colleen, Millies normally such a nervous and anxious dog, however when we picked her up she was so settled sitting in the garden with Colleen. Colleen even messaged us to tell us she had settled when we left and even showed us a video of when she was getting groomed in which she was so relaxed! Colleen is a very friendly person and can tell she loves dogs. I would 100 percent recommend the barking barber to all my friends and family from the moment my dogs enter the garden I felt at ease Colleen came down to they level and gave them fusses she even got up extra early as we been on night shift to fit our babies in whiskey got his first trim and Archie and graicy pampered when we came to collect them loved the special touches they little bandanas and they first groom certificates something I’ve never heard of before and especially the photos from they experience I think this just make its all extra special. Took my two cocker spaniels to The Barking Barber for the first time today, and what a fantastic job Colleen has made of the. She enuinely loves dogs, makes such a fuss of them and put them at ease immediately. My two loved her. And it's one of the best grooms they've had. Such amazing attention to detail. As well as this, the measures that were in place due to the current situation were spot on. We couldn’t be happier with our little Lilo’s first groom! She’s a 15 week old yorkiepoo and can be very hyper and excited. I was worried about how she might be with her first grooming experience. I had voiced my concerns and was made to feel very at ease and confident in our choice of groomer. She explained that it would be a learning experience and that the groom would be done at Lilo’s pace so she wouldn’t be made to feel frightened of anything she didn’t feel comfortable with straight away. When we picked her up we couldn’t have been happier with the result, not only did she look absolutely beautiful but was so happy and content. When looking for a groomer we wanted to know that Lilo would always get the same person so she could form some form of bond with them, and someone who would be patient and caring with her. We have definitely made the right decision and would recommend The Barking Barber 100%... We were also given advice on how to brush her at home so that her coat is kept in great condition which was so valuable and we just know that Lilo will grow to love her grooming time both at home and at her appointments Thank you so much x More...

Wow!! my dog Blue went to Barking Barbers and he has come out looking and smelling the best he ever has. I've had him to other groomers in the past but the detail and how thorough she was with him amazed me! Blue has NEVER liked going to the groomers but when I picked him up he was relaxed and playing with a ball and not one bit distressed, this is after just going only once. Colleen is so friendly and obviously fantastic with animals. She really gives her all on what she does. Thank you loads to Colleen for helping out today with a video call! As a new dog owner I needed some guidance on grooming and Colleen gave clear and really excellent advice over FaceTime.
