Great venue for functions ie wedding receptions, wakes etc. The Sunday roasts are friken awesome. Very accommodating staff and good selection of ales and ciders.

Nice big beer garden with views over the countryside. Dog friendly and if you're in to trains the track is only 50 metres away!

Delicious carvery, very generous portions of meat, huge Yorkshires, tasty roast potatoes and lots of choice of veg and sauces, all piping hot. The Allerford is the place we always go when we want a great carvery. They serve a good selection of drinks and the staff are always attentive. The carvery is very good and great value. The home made cheesecake is the best! The Pub caters for parties of all sizes with ease (I was in a party of 20) with plenty of choice at the carvery and from the menu.
