I have two home educated boys with some special needs, they struggle with being left. Here I can absolutely leave them and they are happy and safe and respected. My eldest child is autistic and an elective mute but Kelly is amazing, my boy is joining in and I think he even talks there occassionally. They are both proud of their achievements and come out squealing with news about what they did and how brilliant they were. This is a mighty skill. Not everyone can achieve this. More...

I've been home educating my son for 6 months now and this is unquestionably the most excited he's been about a home ed class or event - and we've been to a fair few. Absolutely loves it and can't wait for Fridays! Kelly really engages with the kids and creates a great atmosphere for them to open up in. I have been taking my 4 year old son along to The Acting Crew for the last few weeks and he really enjoys it. Kelly-Anne is absolutely brilliant with the kids, very engaging and patient and you can tell she really enjoys her job :)
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Acting Crew to others - I think it really helps build confidence in the quieter children and I can tell that it really fires up their imagination. Lots of fun! More...

I'm so happy my little boy has been introduced to Theactingcrew - Louie (my little boy) has been raving about his session all evening. Making us giggle at the dinner table. With only attending his first session I have already noticed a little more confidence in him - no joke!! We'd ask him to do performy stuff in the past and he'd always go a little sheepish, where as this evening he has been jumping around and showing us all the little things he did in this afternoons session. Watching Kelly work with the children was magical too. Every ounce of everything was from her heart, that was clearly apparent. So if you are considoring this for your son or daughter, grandchild or grandson, I urge you to take them along. My son has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, so finding inclusive activities is always difficult. On top of that, he’s also recently been diagnosed with ASD (autism). We discovered The Acting Crew a few months ago, and it’s perfect! Accessible, fun, and great for improving self confidence - it’s exactly what we were looking for and a healthy way to channel energy that can otherwise build up and be released in less constructive ways. Just fab, my girls always want to go, they are utterly absorbed in the class, Kelly is so great, their confidence and group skills are already improved. It's fun is what they always say.

Kelly Anne is very very passionate about her drama and music she is very creative and relates really well with children from all abilities. I recommend bringing your child/ children to these sessions your child/ children will learn so much and have so much fun. More...
