What’s your interior design process?
Each project is completely individual to the client, however our general process is as follows:
1. Initial client meeting (in person, on site, video/phone call) - to gather as much information about your project as possible, your requirements, budget, timescales etc.
2. Presentation of initial design proposals
3. Secondary meeting for feedback, design discussions, next steps etc.
4. Revised design proposals/developed design proposals based on feedback from initial presentation
5. Period of refinement, discussion and budgeting
6. Presentation of final design package, complete with drawings, 3D visualisations, specifications, costings etc.
7. Round-up of Professional Team - we can source everything from main contractors through to specialist sub-contractors, collating quotes and specifications along the way ready to break ground
8. Project start! At this point, it's all in the hands of the contractors, however we are with you every step of the way, supporting, managing and negotiating with all suppliers
9. Installation of FF&E
10. Dressing the final space ready for handover!

What do you love most about your job?
My ultimate goal for every project I work on is to create amazing spaces for amazing people. The bi-products of doing so are just bonuses... Seeing rotting, disused buildings given a second chance at life, watching families grow into their new space, seeing worn and tattered rooms revitalised and used to their full potential.
On a more personal note, I've always been conflicted between my brain and my heart... academically, I steered towards Maths, Physics and Engineering, in my spare time, I would draw, sew, paint and spend hours flicking through interior design magazines. Interior Architecture and 3D modelling has combined those parts of me and completely eliminated that confliction.
What inspired you to start your own business?

At TDdc, we stand by 3 core principles... design for CLIMATE, design for HEALTH, design for EQUITY.

We're passionate about creating amazing spaces to suit their end user, which makes us passionate about you and your goals. Interior Design isn't a 'one size fits all' and it certainly isn't a linear path to get there. We can be as involved in the project as you need us to be, or simply just assist with technical aspects, it's completely bespoke to you!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes - although in an ideal world we would see the space in person, it is entirely possible to complete a project through video call and remote access.

3D Modelling
When creating a new space, or remodeling an old one, nothing compares to seeing your project in photorealistic 3D. We can create a detailed 3D model of your space, complete with furniture, materials, finishes and accessories, to your exact specification, so you can truly visualise your project before even breaking ground.
