I have known Miss Tessa for almost 7months. She is a professional piano teacher. Her patience and enthusiasm during lesson is exceptional. My son is always looking forward to his lessons. He is 6 and has just passed his grade 1 with merit. At some point he was so nervous that he didn’t want to do the exam. With Miss Tessa encouragement, it was done. Tessa is simply amazing. Extremely soft spoken person who very patiently teaches the nuances of Piano. It will be a big mistake if you do not learn from Tessa, the best part that I have observed is, she enjoys imparting her knowledge to keen learners. Tessa has been teaching my son (age 9) piano for the past 5 or so months. We highly recommend Tessa as a piano teacher. My son enjoys each lesson and always looks forward to them. Tessa is calm and patient and she plans each lesson well. She also provides my son with pieces to practice between lessons. My son is obsessed with Disney, and Tessa goes out of her way to prepare Disney songs for him to learn - which he loves! During lockdown last year we were looking for a tutor to support our daughter continue her music lessons, preparing towards Grade 8 Piano exam. We couldn't have got a better teacher than Tessa who not only helped my daughter in GCSE year to get 30/30 in her GCSE music performance but continued to help my daughter achieve distinction in Grade 8 Piano exam. My daughter found Tessa's teaching style to be very effective, during the lesson, she would give good, constructive notes which helped my daughter improve the accuracy and fluency of her pieces. When the Grade 8 exam was coming up, Tessa provided offline feedback on mock performances which really enabled my daughter to push herself and achieve distinction, as Tessa would pick every single detail and work on them to make them the best it could be. Tessa started to teach my son piano from August this year. My son is a completely beginner and he really loves it. Tessa always comes on time or early and never rushes to leave after the lesson!
