Firstly, we want to know all about you. We want to know what has inspired your project and your visions of it in a few years' time. We want to know all about your customers and we want to know how we can save you time and make your life easier.

Here is our tried and tested workflow. Each step will need to be signed off before going on to the next.
PHASE 01 - Project Brief

A 30-minute to an hour in-depth consultation. The purpose, to gather as much information about your business needs and aims. Afterwards, we will get to work preparing a proposal ready for you to sign off.

PHASE 02 - Wireframe & Scope-of-Work

Once you have accepted our proposal, we will develop the wireframes for your website or application, as well as an in-depth development brief. We usually do this via video conference. Afterwards, we will follow up with an email outlining everything we discuss.

PHASE 03 - Frontend Design

Before we get to the complex task of backend development, we like to ensure the frontend is what you expect. You will now start to see your project come to life.

PHASE 04 - Backend Development

If you have any dynamic elements or integrations, we will build them in this step, the longest part of the process. We will always keep you updated via email, just to let you know how you are getting on.

PHASE 05 - Showing the world

Finally, we will make your website live! If it's to be hosted by us, it's a simple process of updating your DNS. Otherwise, we can either upload it to your designated host or send you the final code.

Generally speaking, if it's a web development project, we need to know where your site is currently hosted and where your domain is held. If you are unsure, let us know and we can figure it out for you.
We like to get this sorted out as early in the process as possible to ensure there are no hiccups on the big day.

I just like making stuff! I always have done and always do! Writing code, and building websites and apps, that's just my prefered method. It makes it even better if I can help you enjoy your job more, whether that is building a new simple CMS system or taking care of your hosting and domain. I just like making people's life easier!

I have always worked on side projects throughout my career, some of the clients I have had for over 10 years! I created Tea Powered Projects to give myself a known outlet to house all of my side projects. I had always wanted to make this work full time. I had worked in the same company since a week after I turned 16, a job I got from work experience when I was 14. My wife and I lost our baby at 28 weeks at the beginning of 2021 and this changed my outlook on how I wanted to live my life. Although I loved working at the same company and I had my projects I had taken care of, I wanted to help more people. So I took some time off and started working full time on Tea Powered Project and I love it!

We aim to provide you with a solution that not only helps you generate profit, but one that is a tool for your business to save money. We do this by not only understanding what your goal is, but also look to integrate other areas of your business to help streamline your process.

As a company, we understand that business is no longer 9-5, so we make sure we are available at all times of the day. Being available helps us support larger organisations as well as hobbyists wanting to turn a side hustle into a full-time job.

We generally work 100% online or remotely. We tend to use Teams to hold our meetings but face to face is also an option.
