What do you love most about your job?
All of us have gone through thorough background checks and had to sit through multiple driving tests before getting our licenses. It’s a pain, but it pays off in the long run because a) we know we’re doing the job right b) our clients will get the best service which is what everything should be about, really.
When you have about twenty or more people in a day enter your cab, you are bound to meet some awesome personalities and see places you maybe didn’t have the chance to see before. The thing is, driving a cab can be super dynamic and very cool! It is not unusual to have a person rushing off to a meeting change at the back seat of the car, a lady curse like a man while we fight the traffic, cute kids with parents show interest in the buildings around, the elderly who usually have intriguing stories to tell… And, when you are driving at night, there’s usually someone who comes in drunk and tries to guess their address. Now, that’s always a story!!!
