Tax Help Direct is an experienced family run firm with over 30 years expertise in every aspect of the profession. Qualified accountants are able to provide you with advice that ensures you run your business in the most tax efficient way. We guarantee our communication with you will be person-to-person and that you will be familiar with the person dealing with your business on a daily basis and will be completely private and confidential. We realise most business owners are extremely busy, juggling their business and personal lives and need a hassle-free, flexible service, we aim to fit in around busy schedules.

Working for myself and meeting some great people and some clients have become great friends over the years.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After qualifying at a large firm it seemed the next logical step to start our own business, 20 years later and we are still continuing to grow alongside our clients.

We utilise the very latest technology and software to reduce costs and improve efficiency. We understand doing the paperwork can be stressful for many business owners who really just want to get on with running and building their business, we can take care of all the bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, CIS and other paperwork as well as the normal annual accounts preparation and tax work.

We use the latest cloud based software and provide all of our services in person and also remotely. We use Xero and Sage cloud accounting amongst others.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Remote working including hybrid working has increased since the pandemic although things are returning to normal now.
Annual Accounts
We will take care of all your year-end accounting requirements and ensure they are completed and filed with Companies House on time to ensure deadlines are always met. We can also complete management accounts during the year as required. We offer a company formation service and can provide registered office facilities if required.
Bookkeeping
We use the very latest software packages including Sage to ensure that your books are completed accurately and efficiently. We are able to prepare reports as required including debtors and creditors lists together with detailed profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
Payroll / PAYE Registration
We can register you for PAYE and ensure that your payroll is processed on the time and deadlines are always met. It is fully compliant with HMRC’s Real Time Information requirements. We will advise you of your tax liabilities well in advance of the payment deadlines. We also complete and file your annual expenses and benefits forms (P11D) if required.
Personal Tax Returns
We can complete and file your self-assessment returns online and on time and also advise on additional expenses you may not be aware you can claim. With our expertise we can help you to minimise your tax liabilities through careful planning. We will advise you of your tax liabilities well in advance of the payment deadlines.
CIS returns / CIS Registration
We can register you for CIS. We will ensure that your monthly CIS returns are processed online, on time and deadlines are always met. We will advise you of your tax liabilities well in advance of the payment deadlines.
Corporation Tax Returns
We can complete and file your corporation tax returns online and on time and also advise you on additional expenses you may not be aware you can claim. With our expertise we can help you to minimise your tax liabilities through careful planning. We will advise you of your tax liabilities well in advance of the payment deadlines.
VAT Returns / VAT Registration
We can register you for VAT and under the right scheme for you. We will ensure that your VAT returns are processed online, on time and deadlines are always met. We will advise you of your tax liabilities well in advance of the payment deadlines.
