I can not rate Tatiana and Couture Bridal Studio high enough! 5 stars isn't enough to show my deep appreciation for the level of service, care, and expertise I got from Tatiana. From start to finish I felt comfortable in Tatiana's studio and in her presence. I had a 30 year old bodice worn by my mother and Tatiana took it, customised it, and created a unique and beautiful wedding dress for me to wear on the most special day of my life. Tatiana is incredible, I wish I had better words to describe how amazing she is. She did an astounding job on my wedding dress, and I couldn't have been happier. Let me start by saying that not all wedding dress makers are created equal; Tatiana was the 3rd person I had seen and I was fast running out of hope, but upon meeting her, I knew she was 'the one'. I couldn't find a wedding dress I liked in the shops, the materials felt cheap, the experience was unpleasant, and nothing was giving me the 'wow'. I always knew I would end up getting one made, and I am so very glad I did. It was a lovely experience, Tatiana went to great lengths to understand what I wanted from my dress, not just in terms of the look, but the feel, and the goals I wanted to achieve with it. I wanted something classic, with vintage and antique inspirations. I wanted to avoid current fashions, as I didn't want to look back at my photos and think "wow, that looked SO 2023!!". She went to great lengths to source fabric samples for me, which was no mean feat, as I wanted something a little out of the ordinary. Tatiana created for me; a cocktail dress in champagne brocade fabric, with detachable sheer sleeves, and an ivory party bow which I could add if I so pleased, over the top of this, a full, A-line skirt with a significant train, which attached discreetly at the waist. She also made me a beautiful circle veil, with the most exquisite Edwardian style lace edging. Not only did it look stunning, it felt stunning, the dress was of impeccable quality, and I have never felt more beautiful in a garment than in this. I cannot wait to be able to wear my cocktail dress again (this was part of the plan) and I could wax lyrical about the prowess of Tatiana until the end of time. I cannot thank Tatiana enough. I came to Tatiana after buying a wedding dress and wanting some bespoke changes, to turn it into my dream dress and that’s what Tatiana did. She is so friendly and made me feel so welcome at every appointment we had. From our first meeting she listened to exactly what I wanted. She was able to add illusion sleeves to my dress and match these up perfectly with the design on the back of the dress. We went through fabrics and colours and were able to find the perfect tulle fabric and lace motifs for the sleeves. Her attention to detail is great and she did everything possible to make it my dream dress. Even when I was worried it wasn’t going to work, she explored every path to ensure it would. Tatiana was also able to make the necessary alterations to my dress by taking it in and up, adjusting the straps and a new zip so it was the perfect fit! Tatiana added a bustle at the back of my dress so I was able to lift the dress up in the evening which made it easier to walk around in- a massive plus. I cannot recommend Tatiana more! She was absolutely fantastic. The entire process made my wedding that much more magical, she is a kind, hard working person who goes so far out of her way to ensure that you feel as beautiful as possible. She puts so much time into her exquisite work and is always happy to make alterations and changes to ensure that you get your dream dress. She is creative, dedicated and just a genuinely lovely person. The entire process is so bespoke and nurturing, her eye to detail and endless options and sketches give you such a unique experience to create your most perfect dress. Tatiana even made my daughter (6 months old) a little dress that was a replica of my dress. I’ve never heard of any dressmaker offering or doing this before! She truly is extraordinary and an absolute pleasure to speak to, all of her emails and communication with her clients are so personal and you really feel like she cares about you and what you want.She is also extremely humble and for the surprisingly low prices you get so much more for your money than anywhere else I previously visited. My dream wedding dress came to life, all thanks to Tatiana. I bought a dress (not from Tatiana) soon after getting engaged and after a few months I realised it wasn’t quite what I wanted. I didn’t want to live with wedding dress regret, so I took it to Tatiana with a list of changes and she was so enthusiastic to get to work. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! I went to Tatiana with 6 months till my wedding day after trying on lots of dresses and not finding what I wanted. She made the whole process the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had. She created not just one but two amazing wedding dresses and a veil for me, even when I made it difficult by changing my mind a million times. We discussed many different designs, options and fabrics and I got to be involved in the whole design process. She understood very clearly what I wanted even when I couldn’t communicate it well. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed about the whole process and nothing was too much! The dresses were impeccable quality and I’ve never owned items of clothing that fit me as well as they did! The tailored experience of a having your dress made far outweighs the experience I had going to shops! I was worried having a tailor made dress would be out of budget but Tatiana understood that the cost of a wedding creeps up and would do her best to make it as affordable as possible. I found Tatiana by googling and feel so fortunate to have found her! I had bought a preloved wedding dress and asked Tatiana if she wouldn't mind taking a look at it for me and to make any adjustments/amendments if needed. She assessed the dress and the next week I had my dress back! When I collected my dress, I asked what she thought about a veil and she said "Let's take a look" and gave me two to try on. Tatiana created a fabulous red satin evening gown for the day 2 of my wedding. She created a design based on pictures I sent her and a couple of conversations of what I wanted. She nailed the old Hollywood glamour perfectly! The dress was extremely comfortable, fit me beautifully and felt amazing! Tatiana was very easy to work with, making alterations as I kept coming up with new ideas and making great suggestions like splitting the straps at the back and putting a little bit of sparkle in the straps and the waist. As my wedding was booked for July in Italy, a crazy time of year to get married due to the heat, I was after a silk wedding gown. Plus size bridal dress stockists only seemed to have unflattering stiff polyester dresses, which looked (and felt) awful.My fiance came with me to the first meeting, and we both loved her style and manner. My self-confidence was at a low ebb and I was sure I'd look hideous on my wedding day; Tatiana helped me to look at my body shape in a different light and she sketched six initial designs for me. One of the sketches was perfect and over time, the most beautiful silk and lace dress was created, with the perfect train length. She also made silk cravats for my handsome groom, and his best man and ushers, and a traditional Italian borsa (small dolly bag) in silk, to match my dress. Tatiana also created an ethereal Church veil, hand-embellished with tiny flowers, which must have taken her hours.Tatiana's attention to detail is amazing, and my dream wedding dress - although heavily embellished with detailed lace - was a real pleasure to wear, even in the 40C heat. My husband was elated when he saw me appear at the church doors in such a stunning gown, which was the perfect fit for my body and character.We both cannot EVER say thank you enough to Tatiana for the whole magical experience, which she made such a joy for myself, my beloved husband and my dear friend who accompanied me on the sparkle-journey.
